Barbas saw Shay in of the corner of his eye and growled a bit, thinking she would back off like every other dog had. He went back to digging, and finally found something to eat. A sleeping mole... He barked and picked up the body, snapping it's spine at the same time and carrying it off.

Shay ran forward as soon as the large Irish Wolfhound started to leave. He apparently hadn't smelled the babies that were right underneath th mole, and she quickly snatched them up in her mouth before the others noticed the dog had gone. She decided to follow the large dog, hoping for more food.

Barbas finally stopped and sat down next to a dog almost bigger than him, and certainly more bulkier that was sleeping. Barbas wasn't scared of him, but maybe a bit concerned... Barbas eyed the dog warily, and ate the mole.

Shay was very close behind Barbas, and she was pondering on whether she should talk to him... He looked pretty old, and a lot of old dogs probably got lonely... She would have to think about it.

Andre opened his eyes, his fur bristling along his back and his tail whipping violently. He growled, low and impatient, "I warn you, old bag of bones. Leave now." He eyed Barbus with a menacing look of hate and murder in his eyes.

Barbas backed off a bit, but continued to eat.

Sce licked Her mate's muzzle. "There are many loners here," she murmured, "Think that there might be other packs forming?"

Alex was patroling the city. He was to report back to the alphas if anything was suspicious.

Cato shook the snow out of his fluffy pelt.

Andre was tired, and hungry, and wanted nothing more in the world than for his mate to be alive again. He stood up, standing his ground against Barbus and growled from a place deep in his throat. He began stalking toward the old dog rather quickly.

"What do you have against me? We're strangers!" Barbas barked.

"You're one more mouth that eats the food of which keeps me hungry at night," Andre snarled, gaining on him quickly.

Cato heard a growling noise. Courious, he trotted toward the sound. He found Two other mutts and watched in silence. he watched as the snow was getting heavier and heavier almost blinding his veiw.

Shay trotted forward towards Andre and Barbas. "BACK OFF! DON'T PICK ON YOUR ELDERS!" She barked.

Andre snarled and pounced at the old dog, biting its neck, ignoring the other dogs comment.

Barbas yelped, then tried to twist his way out.

Shay barked again and lunged at Andre, then spun around at the last moment and kicked him in the face.

Andre let go of the old dogs' neck and bit down on Shay's ankle when she kicked him. He still held the old dog down though.

Shay yelped as she felt teeth sink into her leg.

Barbas tried to wriggle out from under Andre.

Andre started twisting her leg, tasting blood oozing into his mouth. He stepped on Barbus' chest, still holding him down.

Cato stood frozen. He couldn't beleive what was happening.

Alex saw the two fighting mutts. Not wanting to get hurt during the winter he watched from the shadows.

Sce looked at her mate.

Draco pawed at a dead rat his appetite suddenly gone. He dragged his gaze from the limp body and stared into the desolate streets he called home. A boring life indeed... He thought as he shuffled his way towards a broken house, every paw step sending a lonely echo of his claws bouncing off the ground.

Chief huffed and rolled onto his back pawing at his muzzle where an annoying itch threatened to set him off.

Barbus rolled over, managing to get Andre off of him. Shay pulled until she was free. Both of them started to run, knowing they probably couldn't beat Andre.

When they had gone on for quite awhile Barbas looked over at Shay "Thank you. Oh! Your tail..."
Shay looked back at her tail and whimpered. Nearly half of it was missing!

Andre snarled, watching the strangers run off. He stalked back over to the large barrel and laid down, annoyed.

" You should clean your wound..."
"It's about to rain. Sometime within the next few hours. Can't you smell? My tail injury will be cleaned then." Shay barked. Barbas sniffed, and shook his head. "Nope. Can't smell much of anything. My old age must be messing with me."
