Sol froze where she stalked, eyes watching the two with confusion and anger. The Kelpie would make following the deer centaur no where near as fun. She hissed, and then took off through the snow right at Bayou. Claws extended to rake him.

Bayou acted quickly as the Lynx pounced at him, and he rolled clumsily out of the way.
Talullah watched him roll out of the way, and she backed up. "I'm not fighting! You're an idiot kelpie! Why don't you just change into something else to win?"
Bayou snorted "I'm not like the other idiots who just change and win. I say that's cheating! And... I have problems with changing forms..." He kept his eyes on the Lynx, watching for signs of movement., slowly backing out of range.

The furious Lynx hissed, and got a good swipe across his front legs. "HA!" She yowled, and swiped again, this time stumbling in the snow and plopping right into a snow drift. "I hate snow..." Sol growled as she pulled herself free.

Bayou hardly even flinched at the swipes. They were healing pretty quickly... Not much pain... He was still pretty wet from being in the water, and the water strengthened him. There were small scratches left now. "Lynx, I don't want to fight you. I'm a pacifist."

Sol's fur bunched up in anger. "Well who says I don't wanna fight? I'm no.... Pacificier!" She yowled, Sol was never the smartest Lynx around. Her eyes narrowed and she jumped into a tree, ran along the branch and landed on Bayou's back, claws digging deep into his skin.

Bayou hissed in pain. "That one hurt quite a bit I must say. But I really don't want to fight. I'm rather depressed from... Family issues..." He glares at the river rapids, and a few of his relatives splash water at him. "GO AWAY ALREADY, YA FREAK!" they yell, and continue to splash him. He sighs, and walks a bit farther from the water with Sol still on his back. That really hurts, ma'am. Could you please stop ripping my back? Actually, know what? Go ahead! Rip me up and I'd be happy. Just hope 'natural insincts' don't kick in."

Talullah stares stupidly after Bayou, and everntually trots after him into the woods "Errrrrrr... What just happened?"

Sol snarled, but jumped down from the Kelpie. "You're no fun..." She hissed, taking a few steps back before vanishing into a bush.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I'm not 'fun'! How amazing!" Bayou said sarcastically, and continued to get farther from the water. Talullah just stared at the water, and back to Bayou, then the lynx, trying to figure out what had just happened.

Rae leapped down rock by rock from her den. When she reached the bottom, she listened and smelled for anything. Deer, she lightly and quickly made her way to the animal. Making sure she was downwind she unsheathed her claws and jumped over a log. She landed square on its back and killed it quickly. She drug the deer back up to the den. Leaving it covered in moss, not to atract others, she left for the lake. [i]Fish would be nice to have too.[\i] she thought and trotted away.

Sol pushed her way through the brush until she found a deer trail. It was fresh, but another scent was mingled in it. Her curiosity peeked, the Lynx crept through the snow-laden forest until she came upon the deer, covered in moss. But the feline scent she had tracked with it was no where to be seen.

Rae was carrying her kill back to her den. The wind shifted and brought down another feline scent. She began to bound up the trail. seeing the lynx she jumped over a bush and landed infront of the deer. she dropped her fish on top. "What are you doing here?" she growled. Her lip was curled, her tail flicking back and forth.

In his hate for deer Bayou turned into a bear, one of their many naturaol predators. "GRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he bellowed, and clawed down a sapling.

Sol's ears flicked with curiosity. "Just following a scent. Didn't think it'd come and find me." She mewed softly, gaze falling on the prey and then took a few steps back. "I wasn't here to steal your deer, trust me I hate the taste. And I'm not even big enough to catch one myself. I prefer hares and fish." Unlike the hooved creatures she had met earlier, Sol was wary of the big cat.

The lion relaxed a bit. She believed the small cat, but she wasn't about let her guard down. She flicked her tail to the lake. "There's a nice fishing spot near the shore," flicking her tail to the east side, "I found a nesting ground for rabbits it seems." She wanted this cat to wander off and leave her alone, but something told her she was going to need her in the future.

The Lynx sighed, "And to think I had thought I had figured out and found everything of interest in this forest." Her gaze settled on Rae, something gleaming in her eyes. "Then again I didn't know about you." Without any warning, Sol jumped over the deer, landing a few feet from the larger lion. She stared at her for a moment before disappearing in the snow forest, not saying a word.

Rae was fully relaxed. She sat down and started to eat a trout she had caught.

Sol made her way to the shore, careful as she went. At last she found a spot where fish were over abundant, both small and large. She soon had three fish dying on the shore, flopping around in futile attempts to reach the water. Deciding that would be enough, the Lynx turned and saw she would need help carrying them home. Back to the lion.

Bayou decided to return home when the sun started to set, ut when e got there he saw someone familiar. "YOU! WHY ARE YOU AT MY HOUSE? ARE YOU STALKING ME OR SOMETHING!?"
