Jealousy sparked in Raffiel's chest, and he quickly took off after them.

Khora narrowed her eyes. "Holo..."

"Wum?" she spit out the stuff. "Blech! No use hiding it. Haters gonna hate. I was getting stuff to heal Erebus. Thought you'd be mad at him for what he did to Raffiel... I was mad at him to, at first, but after a while he seemed like a good guy. And even if he is bad, it's always better to help a wolf in need."
Zephyr and Kashtin didn't even try to copy what she said this time. It was to long.

Khora froze, and then drew near Holo. "What he did to Raffiel...?" She whispered huskily. "What do you mean?" She was teter-totering on laughing and calling her a liar, or attacking Erebus herself. She could just vaguely remember attacking Erebus once, and threatening him. But the reason... was forgotten.

"Uhhhhmmmmm... I don't know exactly what he did. Or supposedly did... But I know that Lunar hates him for it. That's probably why she didn't do anything...?" Holo shuffled her paws, looking at the ground nervously. "I thought you knew..."

Rowan was surprised to hear so much had gone on while he was hunting. He shook his head and listened to the rest of the conversation.

Lunar returned to the den site, her fur still a bit damp. She walked over to the same tree that she always laid under, and laid down, curling up into a ball and closing her eyes.

Echo watched Lunar go and lay under the tree. He decided against bothering her and walked past her, on into the den.

"Perhaps I did, but now I do not. Tell me what happened Holo." She demanded, trying to figure things out in her head. A great deal of this was a whole new kind of dangerous. Erebus was a powerful wolf, but the state he was in prevented many of them to attack him. It simply would be morally wrong. Khora narrowed her eyes at Holo. "Tell me... Everything."

Raffiel padded along and then curled up next to Lunar. He licked her ears gently, his anger deminished in her presence alone. "I love you." He whispered.

Now sure of what he wanted, Echo walked briskly up to Khora. "Khora," he said bowing his head, "I wish admittance into this pack. Would you please accept my request?"

Holo took Echo's interruption as a chance to leave. "Sorry..." she whispered to Rowan, and scampered off to the burial forest. She needed to think. Maybe being there would help. She always found it so peaceful there.

Echo glanced at Holo curiously, however quickly turned his attention back to Khora.

Lunar gave a small smile when she felt Raffiel at her side. She opened her eyes and licked his paw. "I love you, too," she whispered, resting her head over her paws again and closing her eyes.

Bo-Bo had fallen asleep watching Khora's pups. It was pretty boring compared to what he was used to, and he wanted to see Erebus.

Ayalilla looked down, happy to see her pups had learned to stay with her. She got up, and stretched. All that rest and Khora's doctoring had healed her wounds until only a few scars were left, and she felt like she could run for miles. She nudged her pups, waking them up. "Come on little ones, you've earned ourself an adventure!"

Kashtin repeated Ayalilla. "Adventure!" Zephyr smiled at his brother. "That's delicious!" he barked. They had been listening to the older wolves, and repeating them, loosely grasping the concept of speech. They didn't quite understand it yet, but they could now communicate enough to tell someone their feelings.

Ayalilla turned to the brothers. "Would YOU two like to tag along?"

The two bounded over, barking "Yes, yes! Let's go!"

Ayalilla smiled, and started off to Misty Stream. "Come along young ones, we're going to the stream!" Her pups and the two brothers followed her.

Blaze took his time heading to camp. When he reached their dens he felt a tense mood in the air. He dropped the rabbit near the dens and searched for Khora. "What's going on..?" .

Jay trotted into the den clearing. She poked her head in the den. "Echo there is someone that you might need to see." She returned back to the black and white she wolf.

"What name did you just say?" Belle's tone was one of threat however it was not meant to come out that way, especially towards an alpha.

Jay lookedat the young wolf with a note of authority in her eyes. She heard the rustling of Echo from the den and waited.

Echo had heard Jay calling him. He got up and walked to the mouth of the den. When he got there he couldn't believe what he saw. His mouth dropped and his eyes widened. "Belle?!? Is that really you?!?"

When Echo stepped out of the den, she couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing. Her look mimicked Echo's. "ECHO!!!" she screamed and ran at him and nuzzled him.

Echo, still a bit in shock, returned the gesture.

Ayalilla and the pups came back from the Misty Stream, and went over to the food pile. "OK, we're gonna eat meat, today! No more milk for you, little ones. You're to big now."

"Belle," Echo started, "I though I would never see you again. What happened?"

Belle pulled away and looked down. "Your father didn't kill me when you left. Instead he enslaved me. It stayed that way for the longest time until I escaped." Belle sighed and tried to hide her scar from Echo, but it was futile.

Echo noticed the scar. "Belle! What did he do to you?!?"

Belle's reply was instantaneous. "Nothing worse than what he did you you." She said this in a low voice.

Lunar perked her ears, hearing a new voice. She looked over and saw a new wolf. She watched from where she was silently.

Echo sighed and then smiled. "I guess I can't change the past." He looked up at her. "I'm just glad you're here now." Echo nuzzled her.

Belle smiled and returned the nuzzle.

Kashtin and Zephyr split off from the group, and started eating off of something's leg. They didn't know what it was, but they knew it was food.
