Belle again looked at him with a confused look. "Her student?" she asked with a very confused tone.

Malheure had been looking around for the she-wolf Jay. One of the wolves had told her that she was in charge, and to ask her any questions. "Where could she be? Why is it so hard to find the one in charge here?" she wondered aloud.

(It's hilarious that Echo was accepted before Malheure XD)

Khora rolled her eyes. "Echo, a Healer does not take on a student." She informed him, the term was rather important in truth. At least it had been in the desert. "A student merely learns, and maybe uses the knowledge he now posses. But mostly forgets it." With a sweep of her tail she gestured at Erebus. "You saw how Lunar Eclipse assisted me with him. No an Apprentice is a student, but more then that. An Apprentice is in training, a healer in training, capable of helping, learning, acting when needed. An Apprenticeship defines a life." Her gaze was serious though her tone warm. "It is a lifelong commitment. Do you really want this?"

Raffiel awoke and looked at Malhure. How long have they been there? He thought with confusion as he finally noticed them. He walked over, hating to have to leave Lunar's side. "Hello." He said once close enough.

Echo seemed to go deep into thought, but, when he returned, he had a look of confidence and assurance on his face. "I accept. I would be willing to do anything to become a healer. If you will it, then it shall be done. Thank you for this oppurtunity." Echo bows his head again and begins to exit with a small grin creeping onto his face.

Belle was absolutely shocked. As they got outside the den, she began talking again. "A healer?!? Since when did you want to become a healer?!?" she asked adding extra enphasis on "healer." "You told me when you were still in the pack that that was one thing you were never going to become!!!" She tried not to, but her voice got louder and louder with each word she said.

A blade of grass started tickling Lunar's nose, causing her to sneeze herself awake. She looked around with a blank expression, still half asleep.

"It's nothing." Echo mumbled.

Now Belle was starting to get mad. "Nothing?!? How can it be nothing if it COMPELLED you to want to become a HEALER?!? Tell me that" Belle was fuming by now. Not just because he wanted to become a healer, which would leave little time for her on top of what happened at the other pack, but also because he was keeping secrets from HER! His own mate!

Lunar looked toward the shouting, scratching at her ear. She yawned, then watched the two of them curiously.

"I said it was nothing! OK?!?" Echo shouted. He quickly realized this and withdrew back into himself. He didn't want to fight with Belle. Why did she have to be so curious? "I just don't want to talk about it, OK?" he mumbled to her.

Oh he did not just go there. He did not just yell at ME. Belle was absolutely furious. "NO! It is NOT ok! I don't know what has gotten into you but something happened and I would like my MATE to be able to trust ME enough to TELL me what it is! Is THAT ok with YOU?!?" she yelled. Belle started pacing back and forth.

Lunar's eyes widened slightly as she listened. She looked away awkwardly, acting like she wasn't paying attention.

"Damn it Belle! I don't want to talk about it! Give me some freaking time ok?!?" Echo yelled back. Echo was now just as angry as Belle. The fact that she would EVEN try to say that he didn't trust her was crazy! He trusts her with his life! In a calmer but still strained voice he said, "Give me some time. I will tell you but just not right now. Go cool off because getting angry at each other isn't going to do a damn thing. Ask me again after we have both had time to cool down and I might just tell you. Is that ok with you?"

Belle was shocked at first but then quickly settled down. All she could manage to say was, "Fine." Belle then stalked off towards the Misty Stream.

Echo then, needing someone to talk to, walked over to Lunar. He needed advise, and he needed an escape. "Hey Lunar," he said as he walked up to her.

Lunar, acting as if she hadn't heard a thing, looked at Echo casually and smiled, "Hey, Echo."

"Oh and uh... Is there any other place you like besides the Misty Stream that we can go to?" Echo asked. He looked a little concerned.

Lunar made an odd face, then nodded, "Yes. There's the Grassy Plains." She stood up and stretched her legs, then started heading for the Grassy Plains. "Follow me."

Khora flicked her ears, not bothering to get into the two's disscussion. As they both fled away from each other she laid down, and began to lick Erebus's ears in an attempt to comfort him. "That feels good..." He murmured, turning to look into her golden eyes. She blushed, her ears pulling back. "Well it's my job to keep you out of pain." She responded, and then quickly dashed away to her pups who were beginning to cry for milk.

Raffiel had woken up during the two young couple's fight. He got up, seeing how Lunar was going off with Echo. He might as well talk to Belle. So he padded after her to Misty Stream.

As soon as he felt Khora breathing on him and her pups, Bo-Bo un-curled from around them and went to Erebus's side. "Are you Ok now?" he asked quietly.

Khora thanked Bo-Bo and then curled around her pups, nuzzling each of them in an apology for leaving them for so long so soon. They latched on, suckling near instantly and Khora had to resist a murmur of amusement, not wanting to bother them. She laid her head down and closed her eyes.

Erebus looked up at him and then nodded a bit. "I will. I didn't know Raffiel was so strong though." He responded in a hushed tone, then in a louder one, "Can you go hunting? With all these pups, new wolves and my injuries were gonna need more to eat."

Bo-Bo nodded. "I sure can try! Never have really properly hunted before, though... No one ever taught me. But I know that if you go for something's neck, it'll die most of the time!"

Erebus laughed a little. "That's the spirit. Maybe there's someone around that can help you. I don't want you to go and get gored by an Elk like Raffiel. You know he barely survived that one." He threw that last bit to reinforce to Khora that that's what happened. He knew that if he the plan was to work, Khora had to be on their side. Or at least not willing to fight him. Besides, Lunar was spreading it around again.
