Dustin looked away, not wanting to meet her gaze. How weak he must look, how weak, helpless and vulnerable. He hated that feeling, and whinnied in pain again as he attempted to rise once more.

He struggled again, but the pain was to much and he stopped. "But were to close to the herd. They can keep attacking, they have the advantage of numbers and health!" He cried in pain as another throbbing spasm shot through him.

He struggled once more, grunting in pain and determination as he rose. He managed to scramble to his feet. "Ok, I can get away with help... lots of help..."

Dustin gave his friend a thankful nod and snorted as another pain shot through him. He somehow managed to not cry out in pain.

I helped him to down the hill walking backwards in front of him by a bit so he doesn't fall and drag Arrow down with him "Man I hate this hill!" I mutter and reach the cave a short while later

Dustin collapsed on the cave floor. Writhering in pain. He looked at Cowbell, unharmed. He smiled at her, his grey eyes twinkling. "It was totally worth it. You were unharmed."

"I'm gonna go wash my shoulder and get some healing plants." I say heading towards the stream and washing my shoulder. I search around and find the plant grabbing it with my teeth I keep looking.

Cowbell frowned "I still have those bruises from earlier... so technically I wasn't unharmed..." >.> she layed down next to him trying to help

He nodded grimly, "Yeah but that was because of those stalker stallions." He smiled then and managed to sit up some. "They won't be bothering you any more! I taught them one good lesson!"

I grab the plants and go to the cave. "These will only help open wounds, so I need to know where they are" I say

"They were the first stallions who attacked, I held them off pretty good..." His smiled faded though, and shame crossed his face. "I killed Freygho..." His throat tightened.

Dustin shook his head. "I still shouldn't have killed him! I should have had better control!" He shifted his weight to reveal several bleeding hoof shaped wounds on his right flank.
