"My great grandmother's grandmother, Kima, was hunting in the plains." She began, still walking, her mind seeming to be in the story. "She came across a baby tigon. She couldn't leave the cub stranded there, so she brought her back to the pride. They hated the child though, calling it a monster. She ran away one night, after they tried to kill it in cold blood. She had the cub with her, a male that she had named Minrod." She paused for a breath. "She raised him to be against the pride that had tried to kill him; she was unable to see what she was turning him into. Minrod grew up to be a horid monster, who attacked Kima, she bearly made it out alive. When she made it back to her pride, she found that they had all been slain. Minrod had beaten her there, and Kima didn't know where to go, she simply wandered the savannah." Vanir stopped, looking across the beautiful land around her. "Kima found this pride after her wandering, she was allowed in, found a mate, and swore that half bloods were nothing but evil and monsters like her old pride thought. After her first cub was born, Kima taught her what she believed. Nothing seemed wrong with it, so the cub went along, and taught my great grandmother, and so on to me." Vanir looked at him, her eyes dull as she had retold that lesson that she could never forget. "Only now does this belief have holes in its words, tears in its cloak, gaps in its knowledge... Only now does it seem wrong."

I nod my head. "I understand now. I would probably be the same if that happened to me. But where that hole in the story lies you can make a new beginning." Leon stops walking and turns to her. "You can change, you have that power and much more... You don't need to but you can. That's all I have to say. Don't let the fear of upsetting your family hold you back. Who knows maybe they have been feeling the same." ( HOLO I KILL YOU lol jk Razz

Vanir looked at him, her eyes showed that she had never dared to do that. "Change..." She whispered and then looked around her, at the ever changing landscape of the savannah. "It always happen weather we like it or not... Its worth a try." She looked at him. "I will try to change my beliefs." She promised.
