With another tug, Lunar was free. "There we go!"

Lunar laughed and quickly tackled him over, making the two rolled off the pile of sticks.

Raffiel laughed and pressed his muzzle against her neck.

Lunar laughed as her tail wagged quickly. She licked his ear then got up and ran back up the sticks, determined to get to the top.

Raffiel followed her, and pushed her up the sticks some. "Can you get up there?" He asked.

Lunar smiled, "I can do it." She pulled herself up with a thick branch, almost getting to the top.

Raffiel pushed with his head, trying more to help her up.

Lunar made it over the pile of sticks and onto the solid ground of a small hill. She turned around to face Raffiel, "Come on!" She reached back down to help him up.

Raffiel bunched his legs, and cleared the sticks in a single bound. "Made it." He stated slightly smugly.

Lunar looked at him and teased, "Show off."

He laughed. "Perhaps. Where to now?" He looked around and shook a few twigs that had snagged his fur free.

Raffiel looked around, his eyes settling on a rocky path. "This way!" HE bolted off towards it.

Lunar giggled and chased after him.

Raffiel kicked bits of dirt up as he scrambled over larger rocks. "Man... This is.... hard...." He grumbled, as he lost his footing and began tumbling back down. "Ow..."

Lunar saw him tumbling down toward her and her ears fell back. She stepped aside then as he was falling past her, she bit ahold of the scruff of his neck to catch him.

He let go of a gasp, he looked up at her. "Thanks." He said weakly, his lungs getting crushed a bit by the fur being pulled.

Lunar pulled him back up, her deep sapphire blue eyes looking straight at his, and asked, "Are you ok?"

Raffiel shuffled to his paws. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." He licked her muzzle.

Lunar smiled and licked his muzzle in return. She asked him, "So.... You wanna still try and get over those rocks?"

He looked at the large boulders. "No." He instead found a trail that went around them. "This way."

Lunar nodded and followed him, staying close behind. She looked around him and saw a snake sitting in their path. She yelped, "Raffiel!" Lunar pulled his tail and pulled him back so he couldn't go any further, "There is a snake."

He looked down at it, and snarled. The snake had not yet noticed them. "Back away slowly." He whispered to her.

Lunar nodded and slowly started backing away.

The snake suddenly and violently turned and bit at Raffiel's paws. He swatted down on it, his paws pushing down on its neck. "HURRY!" He called out, feeling it getting loose.
