Raffiel returned with a big bundle of wet moss in his mouth, he padded over to his mother and dropped the bundle with satisfaction. "There you are!" He laughed, tail wagging.

Lunar walked up alongside Raffiel and also dropped the wet moss. She looked around thoughtfully and said, "Now for the poppy seeds.."

Khora nodded. "You can get the seeds from red flowers that grow in clusters. They can fill a whole field if its empty of trees. Very bright, and the seeds are all in the center like pollen making it black." Khora instructed her.

Khora paused for a moment to think. "How about..... well get as much as you can and I'll tell you if its to much or to little. I think they's some in the light forests."

Raffiel quickly took off after her, just a bit behind her. Khora laughed at their enthusiasm and then looked at Rowan. "What's wrong hun?"

"Holo just seems busy and when im training shes free, but when im free shes busy," he whinned.

Khora gave him an understanding look. "I know what you mean..." She looked at where she thought Blaze might have been if he had been there. "It hurts to not be with those you love. But hey, you know Holo loves you!" Her gold eyes flashed with worry as if she feared Blaze's absence meant he no longer loved her. "And things will work out soon enough."

Lunar got back to the den and rushed over to Khora, putting the poppy seeds down, "Is this plenty?" She tried to avoid the subject for when Khora would see Raffiel's ear.

Khora looked down and sniffed at it. "Plenty. Thanks Lunar." She barked, a twinkle of pride in her eyes. That soon changed to confusion as she heard Raffiel's foolish stumbling. He stepped on his own tail and yelped, falling flat on his face. He got up and growled as he looked around. "OK! WHO DID THAT!" He demanded. Khora moved her head around Lunar to look at him. "What's wrong with him?" She asked, giving Lunar a suspicious glare.

Lunar got suddenly nervous. "Oh, him... Nothing. He's fine. Or, he will be fine.. I mean,..." Lunar trailed off and sighed, realizing she wouldn't get away with this. "Raffiel and I ran into a wolf. There was a fight and Raffiel's ear got hurt, so he took some poppy seeds to take the pain away.."

Khora's face turned from shock, to anger, to amusement. She got up and walked over to Raffiel. He gave her a funny look, and made a silly noise. "Boy.." Khora's voice sounded terrifying with the intensity she spoke with. "Lunar may not be very experienced with poppy seeds. But I've known them sense I was just a pup." She leaned in towards him, her size making her loom over him like a menacing figure. "You've managed to trick her, but Poppy seeds should only make you tired and ease the pain. Not loopy and high." She saw him gulp. "Now let me see that ear...."

Lunar glared at Raffiel, realizing she had been tricked. She would get him back later for that.

Raffiel yelped as she checked his ear without any carefulness. "Marigold Lunar." She ordered, glaring at her son.

Lunar nodded and quickly went into the den, getting the marigold and bringing it back out to her teacher.

Khora chewed it up and spat it on his ear without any kindness or tender voice as he winced in pain. "I was just joking ma." Raffiel said in a small voice, she grunted, and then walked away. "Don't take it off."

Lunar walked back over to Raffiel. "It wasn't that bad, I guess..."

Raffiel shrugged. "Maybe its because of how serious she is about medicine. Or because she's pregnant." He whispered to Lunar, his tail wagging slightly. Khora settled down next to Ayalilla. "Nice day huh?"

Raffiel jumped around playfully, only to get glared at when the marigold fell off his ear. "Aw man..." He muttered, hearing a growl.

Blaze silently padded towards the outside of Golden Bloods territory. A rabbit hung limply form his mouth. He had stayed to the edges of their territory only going in to hunt and watch over his pack. He sat and began to rip into the rabbit.

Raffiel and Khora's heads both snapped up. "That scent...." Khora whispered, shock and hope filling her golden eyes. She sprung to her paws, and saw Raffiel just behind her. "Mom if I've got it right-" "Its him." She cut her son off. "How can you be certain?" Raffiel was nervous rather then blindly hopeful. If it wasn't Blaze, Khora would be crushed and he knew it. But she was determined. "Do you think I don't know Blaze's scent?" She questioned him angrily. He shied away. "Then lets go..." He wasn't done with the sentence before she had taken off after him.

Blaze sighed quietly and finished off the rabbit. Standing back up he glanced towards his territory and then he stared into the trees beyond, Should I?
