Phoenix had just finished slamming a jocks face into the ground. He stared with wide eyes as the short man walked away " My parents are going to kill me!!!"He said in a whisper a worried look on his face. He clutched at his eye which throbbed from a punch. "Don't worry Tyler we will get are revenge... their all cowards!" He spoke in a determined voice

Carson wiped blood from his running nose. With a look of pure hatred he said, " I hate people like them..." He picked up his bag and looked towards the school doors.

Sara stood up and looked around dizzily. She put her hand to the back of her head, "Isabella is gonna be upset about this.." Lilly looks at everyone then mumbles, "I'm going to class.." She picked up her backpack and walked toward the doors. Sara followed her closely.

Baliey smiled and walked behind Lilly and Sara. "Looks like your CRUSH is going away," she sneered and stopped her. "You should find better friends. I can be that new friend. What do you say? My offer stands till tomarrow."
Josh wiped up the grime on his face. The scrapes and bruises hurt but he was worried about his parents. "God bless," he sighed and saw all the blood on the concrete. Half was his and Tyler's alone.
"Tyler," started the principal, "This is the fifth fight this month. What is going on?"
Tyler Sat down and tuned him out.

Phoenix sighed and shifted his backpack. "Let's go before we're late..." He said to Josh and Carson. He saw Sara and Lily ahead with Bailey behind them. She was talking to them and Phoenix wondered what they were speaking about. He shrugged and walked towards the school.

Carson wiped the blood from his nose again. "Alright" He mumbled to Phoenix and followed behind him.

Lilly walked around the corner and into her classroom. She didn't answer Bailey. She sat down quietly, ignoring the whispering of the other students. Sara stopped in the hallway at her locker.

Josh spat out blood in his mouth. His lip would need to get looked at. "When Tyler gets out he's gonna be pissed!"
Tyler walked out of the office. His backpack slung over his shoulders. Walking into his homeroom. He didn't want to make eye contact with Lilly or his friends. His face bruised and scrapped. His temple bandaged.
"Ok class settle down. Just cause this is Choir, doesn't mean you can start with out the National Anthem. Lilly and Tyler will sing this time," the short stout woman sang.
Tyler ripped the gauze off. The bleeding stopped and washed up. Hering his name, he walked back put and looked better, normal.
"When your ready," she sang again

Lilly looked around shyly. She hated to have to sing in front of everyone else with the worry of sounding horrable or messing up and embarrasing herself more than she usually does. She swallowed then looked at Tyler nervously. Her heart pounded fast as her nerves took over. Then her eyes went to the floor and she said, "I can't." She made up an excuse. "I've got a sore throat... I think it might be strep throat... I don't want to make it worse."
Sara sat down in the hallway and started reading her book. She was going to try and skip the first hour. Hoping to not get caught.

Tyler moved to the other mic. Looking over to Lilly he sighed. She just needs a break, he thought but just looked at the floor not wanting to.
Baliey stood up. "Oh Miss Thyor, I would love to sing for them."
"Very well, Tyler, Lilly off stage!" she sang out again.
Getting up on stage Baliey adjusted the microphone. "Oooh Say, Can youuu seee..." She sang like Vanessa Hudgens.
Tyler tunned her out to. "Why is she such a goodie tushu?" he mumbled.

Lilly walked off the stage, embarrassed. She sat down and didn't look at anything but her shoes. Her face was red with embarrassment. Why couldn't I just do it? why did I go and embarrass myself even more! And in front of Tyler, too! She yelled at herself in her thoughts.

Phoenix took his time shuffling through his messy locker. The tardy bell rang and he sighed shutting the locker he looked around the empty halls and noticed Sara. Smiling weakly he walked silently towards her. He dropped his bag by her and slid down to sit by her. "Trying to skip class?" He whispered an amused gleam in his eye.

Carson slid into his seat and dropped his heavy bag. The art teacher droned on about getting the correct wash while painting. "And today's assignment will be this..." he handed everyone a complex drawing of a forest. "Get to work!" Carson groaned. "Not another one of these..." He mumbled and took out a pencil.

Sara turned her head quickly, hearing Phoenix. She closed her book and sat it down on her bag that was on her other side. With a smile, she answer with, "Yes." Excitement filled her eyes.

Josh walked in computers. He sat down and got the Power Point presentation going. He made it about the dance theme this year. Hea was going to show it to the school's Student Council. It was ideas that they wanted. He planned a Holly wood themed one.
Tyler was asleep as the teacher put in a movie. The Sound of Music Bored the crud out of him. He always slept through it.
Baliey sang every song that showed up on the movie. It absolutely moved her and she caught herself crying once. She always sat in the front of the class. Being the teacher's pet was hard. She disliked doning it but it kept her popular and she lived with it.

Phoenix smiled mischievously, "Mind if I try to ditch with you?" He said quietly. He dug out a notebook and pencil from his backpack. Lightly he began to draw a tiger.

Carson finished the outline of the forest and began to shade it in with expert skill. His teacher watched him over his shoulder. "Can you not do that?" He mumbled. "Do what?" The teacher asked sternly. "Watch me over my shoulder! t bugs me!" The teacher grunted and walked away to watch a different student. Carson sighed and set down his pencil.

"I don't mind at all." Sara answered happily. Then she looked at the notebook and asked, sudden curiosity leaking into her voice, "What are you drawing?"
Lilly pulled out a pen and started doodling on the cover of her notebook.

Phoenix examined his drawing so far, "A tiger, I admire their will to survive it just-just draws me in I guess..."He laughed nervously feeling embarrassed. He finished off the outline of the tiger and smiled at Sara "Are you any good at drawing?" He asked.

Sara shook her head. "The best thing I can draw is stick figures." She looked at the notebook again and complimented from what she could see so far, "You're really good."

As the bell rang Tyler was still out. His red hair was civering his face. His head was in the corner of the two walls. He looked so peaceful, delicate, frail, but the scrapes and bruises gave away he was tough.
Josh walked down the hallway. Not watching where he was going, he tripped over Sara and Phoenix's stuff. He fell to the floor laughing as he flipped himself over on his back. "Best freakin' epic fail ever!" he giggled.

Sara attempted to jump away while still sitting down when Josh tripped over the stuff. Instead, she just smacked her body against the lockers. After she realized it was just Josh who had tripped, she started laughing. "Are you ok?"
Lilly got up to walk out of class and noticed Tyler sleeping. She picked up her bags and walked over, gently pushing on his shoulder, "Tyler wake up. Class is over."

Tyler woke and shook the hair out of his eyes. He saw Lilly and smiled. He got up and brushed the rest away.
Josh smiled, "Yes. Did you guys ditch?"

Lilly smiled and walked out of class. She didn't want to be late to the next one. Sara nodded, "Yep."

Sara stood up, saying, "I better catch the next class. See you guys around!" She waved bye to Phoenix and turned to walk down the hall in her cheerful way.

Phoenix waved and as Sara disappeared sighed. He did not feel like going to class. "Well I think I'm going to ditch the rest of school!" He stood and slung his backpack over his shoulder, "Cya later!" He disappeared into the crowd heading for the door.

Tyler watched the clock the rest the day at school. He didn't want to stay for detention but he would if Lilly was going to.

The last bell of the day rang, saying school was out. Lilly saw Sara at her locker and hurried over, "Sara, hey. When do you want your outfit back?" Sara looked at Lilly and smiled teasingly, "What? Is bright and sparkly not your style?" "Not really." "Whenever you want." Sara answered. She closed her locker and put her bag over her shoulder. the two walked to the front of the school.
