Phlox stared in confusion. "I'll be missed if I don't return soon." He said, and started to head back to the caverns.

Tuvok was over washing his face. He saw movement in the water. He sat there watching to see if he could catch what it was.

"Yeah... We shouldn't stay here. I'm thirsty..." Malik said, and started to follow Phlox. His golden eyes shined even though it was dark in the room. "Did you manage to find shelter and fresh water?" he inquired, and shuffled along. He didn't want to pry into the doctor's mind... It would be rude.
"DON'T LEAVE ME HERE!" Kiamsc shouted, and she walked through the bars of the cage. "MEANIES!" she ran after them, and grabbed Phlox's hand.

Phlox looked down at her in shock. "We found some caverns filled with fresh water ponds. They're most likely part of a whole underground water system." He said, a little uncomfortable with her gripping his hand.

Kiiamsc sensed his discomfort, and gripped his hand tighter. She swung their hands back and forth and suddenly said "WE SHOULD PLAY PATTY CAKE!"
"Stop acting up..." Malik muttered, and tried to continue his conversation with Phlox. "In her mind, I read that she can shapeshift. And she doesn't even have to change because the species she is now can breathe underwater... We could send Kiamsc down to explore if we trust her enough. Maybe she could find something useful, ya never know! There were and still are billions of civilizations made underground."

Spock was breathing had and petted T'Pol's hair. Her head rested on his chest. He was tired and his eyes showed it.

Phlox was standing in the main cavern, talking to the captain. "I've found these two in the back of the shuttle. They were on the Enterprise somehow and it would appear they were marooned with us just as well by the Klingons." He was saying, gesturing to the Argonian child and man without an arm and an obsession for knives.

T'Pol muttered something as she got up, body rather sore. Then she walked to where their clothing had been discarded and slipped on the rather large fitting men's outfit from the armory. She grimaced, deciding that she would have to find time to improve the outfit to fit better later. T'Pol brought Spock his clothing and sat down beside him. "It would seem everyone is getting ready to do something." She observed, the sounds in the caves was steadily growing louder.

"Ummm... Hi. I came up with a sort of plan... At least to kill time. This little child here, her species can breath underwater... Maybe she could follow some of the water underground and find something useful like a civilization or a food source of some kind. You never know with caves..." Malik said silently, and grabbed the stub of his missing arm with his hand as he often did. He was never good speaking to people who outranked him.
Kiamsc let go of Phlox's hand finally. "Let's play Patty Cake!" she said excitedly, and grinned. Her teeth were sharp and she had millions of them it seemed.

Phlox looked down at Kiamsc. "I'm afraid I do not know how to play. Denobulans don't play Patty Cake." He quickly said, taking advantage of having his hand back, and dashed over to the captain.

The captain looked up and raised an eyebrow.

"Your assumption is correct," he grunted. "We shall go on," he put his clothes on, "like nothing happened. Only the doctor." He winced as his muscels protested.

Tuvok looked at the eyes beneth him. He backed away and the glassy eyes rose out of the water, and anphibian like skin shed the water. He stood up and called to the captain.

T'Pol nodded as she brought on her 'work' face, the kindness and caring slipping from her features rather quickly. She did give Spock a quick kiss on the cheek before turning and starting to walk towards the main chamber where Falti no doubt was.

Spock's face glazed over with nothing and he walked in.

Falti turned to see the creature. the skin changed to that of a humans. "Im sorry," it vocalized, "No mean to scare but you might want to come see our city. We are equipted with updated technology."

T'Pol came in to see the creature and blinked. "So this planet is inhabited." She said, coming over to stand near the others.

"KNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW IIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT~!" Malik randomly sang. "Oh, lord! I think Crazy's in charge now..." he continued yelling out random things and trying to cover his mouth and muffle the sound. "I'm... CUPCAKES! Sorry... Crazy doesn't come out a lot and... NEBULA~! Crazy is rather troublesome... I'll try to get rid of him. FLIPADOODLE!" He walked off to try and switch personalities again...
"He's definitely crazy!" Kiamsc whispered to no one in particular.

The creature looked at the Vulcan. "Why yes. We are an advanced species. Vulcans could learn from us."

"Then why hasn't your race been discovered? Transwarp beaming? Time travel?" Spock questioned.

"If your Romulan, Vulcan leader agrees we can get you back home." The creature stepped into the water to the knees.

Falti stood straighter, "Tuvok, Spock, T'Pol, one of you mind meld." she whispered to them.

T'Pol took a moment to think, first that this race is in their quadrant and is very well hidden. Second that they claim to be more advanced then them. Third that they claim they can get them home. Falti's words caught her off-guard and she took a step back. "I cannot perform mind melds." She said, and looked at the other two.

Spock looked at the captain "I scense that neither can you," he took a deep breath, "I'll do it." He waded to the creature and explained to him what was going to happen. He placed his fingers on the face of the creature. After a while he walked back. "We can trust him."

Malik came back looking rather grim and serious. "Crazy's gone! Finally! Now what'd I miss?"
"Everything!"
"Well. isn't that just dandy?" he searched Kiamsc's mind and learned what she had. "Aha... Another undiscovered species. How surprising." he said sarcastically.

T'Pol watched carefully, and practically critically. If that creature hurts him... She thought, remembering the time she had been forced into a mind meld and the pain she had suffered afterwards. But as it ended, she felt a bit of relief. "What'd you see?" She asked him.

"Nothing to harm us. A cityunderwater where a shidl protects it. they only change in the water. They aren't a war bearing people. Thats why we dont know about them."

T'Pol nodded. "And its stands with reason to conclude that the ground and water beneath the surface could shield them from scanners on a planetary and orbital level." She observed.

"Apperently so," he looked at the captain. "I suggest that we go and learn all we can about this race. Doctor this should appeal to science studdies."

"I'm more for medical." Phlox said. "But how can we all breathe under the water?" T'Pol questioned. "It's impossible for any of us except the shifter and the native race to withstand the amount of pressure and hold our breath for the duration of the time."

More of the creatures showed up with some weird uniform. "Put this on and you wont feel a difference."
