"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. But yes I do still have mine. I ran away from home before... THAT could happen to me... The reason I stopped by is I had overheard those men leaving outside as I was flying over. I thought I would check it out and see.if I could meet some people and even get a few friends."

Jackdaw's mother had made fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, and waffles. It was great.

"So you think we can hang out?" Sarah asked. She was beginning to get uncomfortable with her wings folded up. She hated doing this and only did it if she needed to. She began to fidget as her discomfort was increasing.

"Thanks." Sarah took off her jacket and let her wings spread out to their full length before letting them relax. At full length, her wings were almost 12 feet from tip to tip. "Ahhhh. That feels much better."

Sarah nodded her head. "For the most part I agree. However my life was extremely hard afterwards. I had it all before I left. I was valedictorian of my class. I had Harvard basically on their knees begging me to attend their college. I was set for life. But I chose my wings over success."

Logan got down from the desk and wiped his hands on his pants. Looking at the cat face, a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. Angel walked around the city trying to get his mind off his wings and his horrible life. Finding a bar he tried to go in but got thrown out. Deciding to make the asylum pay for more of his "useless" piercings he went into the tattoo parlor and got his nipples pierced.

Aiden looked at Sarah like she was retarded. "If i had half that stuff and had wings i would've chosen success over wings."

"I have thought that exact same thing before. I would question myself about my decision quite a bit when I was younger, but all doubt of making the right decision melts away when I put out my wings and fly. Flying is the most wonderful feeling I have ever experienced. I wouldn't give it up for anything."

"Hey, I'm gonna go out guys... I'll be back in a while" Ruth called, walking out the front door before they could answer. She'd put on her Captain Jack Harkness coat she'd bought on the Internet. She started walking down the street, heading into the part of town full of stores and such. Ruth went into a tattoo shop, and reached into her pocket to get some money for a tattoo, and felt something else in there besides her wallet that she usually kept in a pocket. She hadn't worn this costume since Halloween, so... It was her water gun made to look like a laser gun. She giggled, and reached into her pants pocket. "There we go." she said, pulling out her wallet. She then looked around, trying to decide what to get. It was her first time in a place anything like this. The only places she had been were restaurants a few blocks from her house. This was almost the other side of town! She just wanted a bit of change, a bit of excitement.
