(I have written poetry in a while okay don't judge me I'm just practicing some cause I haven't written in a while)
Each day we are reminded.
Reminded of the bitter truth that we are born to die.
Like most others I do not want to live in this lie,
I want to know that even in a world made of just substances,
There are things to be done and things I still have yet to boast.
Though is their anything left to show when I have spent a long three years as ghost?
Nothing more than a ghost with a hollow hope for something to change, everything is just a dream.

Everyone dreams of being big and driving 17  cars
All but those who are left with empty scars.
The few who dream only of getting better
And sometimes, the world is fucking cruel.
No even gives a damn, it's all about taking and never helping even in the time of yule.
It's a lie that it's a time of giving, cause everyone knows the crave of Christmas is all about the taking.

Every child, adult, and elder wake up each morning and do not think of those who have passed on this day
They only care that they are alive and they simply have nothing to say.
Not a word is spoken for the lonely
Not a a new years kiss given to the ugly.
Though can I blame them?
Who would want to pay attention to the bad things in life when they are happy?
So all the couples beneath the berries will forever be sappy,
The fires will burn while we're still neck deep in our holiday wishes.
I cannot fucking cope with this chilling fear,
This not so welcoming absence of cheer.
The laughter, and joy, the tears, and the screams.
I just want it all to stop.
Stop for just a moment, just until I am up for the chop.
Then I will be the one forgotten.
