The abandoned house

Thought I would try this out. The house has been abandoned for years and lots of animals use it as a home. The house is on the edge of a city the nearest neighbor is a block away.

I padded lightly towards the gate. The wind whipped at my face and I gracefully landed on the gate. I looked at my paw and started licking it. Finished with that I jump down and dart inside. The tattered curtains blew wildly in the wind. The door creaked loudly... this was home. I pass a new dog that had come the day before and jump onto the torn couch. I sit there twitching my tail back and forth.

I wrinkled my nose, something smelled like dog. As I walked down a dirt trail in a strip of trees near a house, I had to stop and think. "What am I doing here?" I wondered aloud and shook my blue fur clean. I had been traveling for some time now, and my paws were going to give out from under me if I didn't rest them soon. There was a house up ahead... maybe I could stay for a few nights. So I quickly took off, towards the unfamiliar scents, both dog and cat.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! Can I join? I ish gunna be a racoon or something if I can! Or maybe rabbit anywayz dun eat me! THink I will stick with bein a mipatchetli.

I am sooooooooooooo being a hedgehog named Alyssum. She is named that 'cuz she was born in a little patch of Alyssum in the neighbors garden she is not fullgrown yet but she knows her way around the house TOTALLY! *fistpump*

Bored of the house I decide to go into the city. Hoping down to the dusty wood floor I pass the birds, dogs, cats, and the occasional wild animal to the door. I exit the life filled mansion and crawl under the gate. I start down the road to the city but before long I notice a new cat. I walk to the cat "Hello I am Apollo" I say. I bend down and lick my paw.

ALPINE:I walk through the house my paws clicking softly on the wood floors. "Hey Alpine" A dog sitting on one of the couches barks to me. I nod back and keep walking. Four stories to guard and keep in order I think to myself I need help. The first and main floor was to all animals. The second floor was usually the birds. The third was home to most of the dogs and cats. The basement was home to the cold blooded animals. How it didn't erupt into chaos every five seconds I didn't know. I keep going my route and checking all the rooms.

ROCK ON HEDGEHOGS!

Alyssum hobbled through the long ago abandoned and overgrown garden occasionally stopping to nibble on roots and a variety of vegitation then sniffed the air smelling a cat and a dog I peer down my snout at the door and see a blurry outline of the two (Hedgehogs have bad eyesight apparently) Alyssum started to turn and hobble in the opposite direction making a lot of noise on accident but trying not to be eaten knowing that her soft baby quills wouldn't protect her well

(lol I love the pics also may the form be with you)ALPINE:Checking outside for any trouble I walk onto the overgrown grass. I hear noises and turn to see a hedge hog "Hello I say walking up to it.

[Me]

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPP!" I squeel and try to go faster then seeing it is hopeless I try to bury under the ground to escape and get pretty far with my tough sharp nails that haven't been used in awhile and dissapear under the tomatos

"I-I'm sorry" I say surprised at the reaction. I take a step back.

[Me]

I snort and say catiously "No I am used to everything trying to eat me that is all..."

(Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww... have to go )

[Artemis]

"Who would eat you, with all your spikes" I say aloud more to myself then Her.

[Me]

My eyes get wide and I walk out of the small quickly made burrow and say "Stroke my back and see..." I look at Alpine nervously "My spines are not hardened yet because of my young age and are actually very soft!"

ALPINE:I look closely "Look pretty sharp to me" I say. "I'm not touching those!" I say more loud

[Me]

"It is fine! They are very soft like those things you other animals call 'blankets'!" I assure her "Trust me I do not usually try to harm others..."

[Artemis]

ALPINE:"Hmm.." I say uncertainly. "I'm still not touching them!"

[Me]

I roll my eyes "Whatever! Don't listen then..." I start to walk away "Now I was here to get some food so seeya..." I continue eating random plants

"Wait!" I say putting my paw on her back without thinking. I yelp out and jump up."OW!!!!!, That hurt" I say bending down and plucking quills from my paw.

[Me]

"You are silly!" I say looking at the blackberry bush next to me that she hurt herself on "You missed me! You hit the bush!"

(Seriously I am not joking or anything Hedgehogs quills are soft at a young age! )

[Artemis]

(Rawr) I shake my paw. "Are you living alone?" I say

[Me]

"NO! Why would a hedgehog like me live alone? I live with my sikty sisters and thirty brothers..." (lol! Domo does not approve of this 'RAWR'! B3)

(Lol I will rawr double now Rawr rawr) ALPINE:"Just asking" I say turning around "Bye then, I got to get on my route" I turn and start to walk back into the house.

I nibble on some basil and fall asleep full in a safe spot in the middle of the bushes and Satana hops of the roof ignoring the hedgehog and trotting over to a wheelbarrow full of rainwater and she hops in swimming in the shallow water "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Much better all that soot was itchy..." She wrinkled up her nose in disgust at the thought of being covered in soot for more than a couple minutes
