I was wondering about making characters...

So I love making characters and they're wonderful and just yes! But I can never find ways to use all of these characters that just pour out of me. So there's artists who draw characters and give them to other people... So would it be weird for me to just make a ton of characters and then let other people take them? It sounds like a good idea, but then also a bad one because what if that person misuses them somehow or doesn't portray them right but then the character would already be theirs and I couldn't just take it back? And also anyone can write a character so me making random characters would just be useless, huh? I don't know... I've been thinking about this forever and I just need some other opinions please. You guys are like my guiding spirits, man! So I come to you, and beg for an answer to the question: WAT DO!?

Lol. Often enough, this does happen. And this is why I just hop on DeviantART and buy/make adopts. But it's not like my adopts are ever bought so I delete them.
People sometimes don't want to go through the trouble of brainstorming an entire profile for a fictional or non-fictional character, so instead they ask someone or get one from someone who makes them. ^^
You can make characters and put them up for grabs, or not, it's up to you.
