Kayo pounced on the sleeping Kerwin, purring with joy at finding him. "Found ya." He laughed. "I should get you back. Your father might have my pelt for this." He said and nudged him to his paws.

Kerwin woke up a bit and saw Kayo "Oh hai!" he said sleepily "I'M EXHAUSTED!" he slowly padded off in a random direction still half asleep

Kayo chuckled and began giding the half asleep cub to the pride. Every-so-often giving him a nudge when he sat or went the wrong way.

"Wander off into the desert and get killed by hyena's." He said with a straight face. "Or get mobbed by fangirls." He chuckled, a gleam in his eyes. "Which one is worse?" he said, his muzzle near Kerwin's ears.

"HAHAHA!" Kayo laughed. "I knew you would say so!" His tail flicked back adn forth with pleasure. "Well its time for bed." He mewed as they got closer to the pirde.

"It's because hyenas..." he trailed off falling asleep as soon as they entered the den but then he woke up again and finished "...are cowards!" then snored on

Kayo laughed and settled himself on the rock next to him. Then sleep took hold and he let its cool embrace surround him. He opend his eyes to a bloody pride land. Fire raging on all sides, and a lion with a bloody black mane prowling towards him. "KAYO!" He roared and clawed at the freightened tiger. Kayo ducked and the lion soared right over him, and he growled. "GREM!' He hissed, and his claws extended outward. Grem lunged again and brought his fangs into Kayo's throat. Kayo gasped and felt his life ebb away. "DIE KAYO!" Grem roared through his bloddied fur.

Kayo gasped, opening eyes to a safe unharmed world. His heart beated fast, and he shuddered. "Only a nightmare..." He whispered.

Kayo's heavy breathing woke Kerwin and he looked up at him asking "What's wrong?"

He shook his fur, his claws coming in and out in a reflex. "Nothing... Only a dream...." He promised and curled back up to sleep.

"Well..." Kerwin said "Guessing from your reaction it was a bad one! Whenever I have bad dreams I just imagine that the dream is a monster and I am chasing it away out of my mind! It always works!" he grinned

He raised an eyebrow ridge, but shrugged. "I suppose that works for a cub...."
