"Okay I can deal with that" Logan says laughing. "So know any thing fun to do in this dry little boring village?"

"There was four... and we found one." She replied, then turned back to the scout. "We need to find out who this is." She said and held her breath. She poked her head in, and found the silver necklace around the charred corpse's neck. She quickly pulled it off and then let her breath out. "God that smelled!" She gasped. Then she peered down at the necklace, it was a jaguar, and she recognized the way it was carved. "Brother..." She whispered, her eyes wide enough to become quickly dry from staring at the necklace.

"Brother..." She whispered again, stunned. Then louder, each time she spoke her voice grew higher, and louder. "Brother... brother.... brother... BROTHER!" She wailed the last one, toppling back, tears streaming from her eyes. She clutched the neckalce like it could bring him back. "Brother! No! I should have remembered you were on this scouting mission! Why! WHY!?"

Her sobs racked her body back and forth. "Why..." She whispered, the dourpour of grief having passed. Jessie pulled herself up, and leaned against the wall of the cave. She looked at the body, stuffed there like it was a burden. She snarled vigourously, making more tears stream down. "Who did this to you?" She asked her dead brother, expecting an answer.

Keith puts a hand on Jessie's shoulder. "Whoever it is we will track them down unless..."

She looked up. "Unless what?" HEr voice cracked.

"Unless... you wanted to go on with this mission. But forget that" Keith said thinking of Logan.

Her body tensed. "I'm going after them. Because what ever they did they most likely happened to the others." She quietly.

"I'm up for hiking" Logan said. Keith turned to Jessie "I'll go where you go" He sad sadly thinking of if he lost Logan.

Jessie looked at him, her eyes red and puffy. Her face was drying, though there was lines from where the tears had fallen down her face. She untensed, and uncurled her fingers from the necklace. She slid it on her neck, looked at him, and then nodded. She shifted into a panther and began padding outside, unable to look at her charred brother again.

Aubrey Stood up and held her hand out for Logan to use to help himself up. "Lets go this way" she said pointing straight ahead of them. She quickly changed into her animal and back eyes wide with horror. "Change and lets go! i smell dead people!" she changed and stared to run as fast as she clould waiting for Logan every once in a while.

Jessie jumped over a log and ran faster after a scent trail that had opened up. Her mind was very aware of the mountain lion and wolf heading their way. She turned abruptly in the grass over fallen leaves, sending them flying into the air. She climbed up a tree and ran across its long branches.

Keith keeps running as a horse. Logan smells horse and immediately thinks of Keith and his mother.

Jessie jumped back down, her yellow/gold and black fur flashing as she picked up the pace. She sent up more fallen, red and orange leaves and then jumped over a rock and turned to a stream. Nearby was the cliffs. Jessie was waiting up for Keith, when a bone chilling howl filled the air. The wolves were coming.

Jessie was terrified, the wolves were salavating and bloodlusty. One was nipping at her heels. The other was biting at her throat. She was bearly fighting them off. It was one against twenty. She yelped as one bit her left leg hard enough that she fell down to three legs, she clawed one off her right shoulder, but that only made room for another.

I stamp crushing two under my weight. I neigh loudly and keep stamping my hooves my advantage in size helping.

Jessie jumped on Keith's back and protected his rear, her claws keeping the wolves at bay. Soon they yelped, and whined and sprinted away. Jessie crashed there, exhausted. "Thank god for you..." She whispered.
