Lunar smiled and stood again, hurrying off in the direction of the den. She spotted movement in the shadows, making her fur stand on end, but she didn't stop walking.

Echo quickly followed her. He could sense her tension, but was unsure why she was stressed. "Hey Lunar, Is something wrong?"

Echo's senses started going off. Oh my god! Why didn't I notice this sooner?!? "I feel it too," he said uneasily.

Lunar lowered her head slightly and said, almost rushed, "Come on.. I'm getting out of here." She picked up her pace a bit, keeping her head low as she padded off.

"Ok," he replied. Echo picked up his pace as well. "You know since we are trying to get out of her, we should make it a little fun," Echo said. "I'll race ya back to the den!" At this he sprinted off towards the direction of the den.

Lunar perked her ears and grinned at the challenge. She took off, racing after him.

Once again amazed at her speed, he picked his up running even with her long enough to smile at her and shoot off ahead of her again.

Ash padded to the plains and looked around at the rolling hills of dark green grass. Her tail wagged slowly as she slowly made her way through the tall strands, having to pull the tangled grass from her toes with each step. She laid down in a small patch, now almost completely concealed. Ash peeked her head over the grass and looked around for a moment before resting her head on her paws and closing her eyes.

Lunar, still following the scent, spotted Ash and yipped cheerfully, "Ash!" She bounded over to the young she-wolf, her dark tail wagging playfully.

Ash's eyes shot opened and and peeked her head above the tall grass, hearing her name. She saw the familiar black pelt and couldn't help but smile slightly. "Lunar?"

Lunar smiled as she stopped just in front of Ash, "Where have you been?"

Ash sat up quickly and replied, "Well, anywhere really." Though she hated to admit it, she actually kind of missed the she-wolf while she was gone.

Ash shrugged. "Well, I don't know.. I don't really have a reason to stay, since I'm not in any pack."
