The specters went through the rock, right on their heels. But the farther the two got, the slower they became. Soon they were gone, and Khora didn't look over her shoulder once. She stopped at a group of palm trees. "Did you see them to?" She whispered to Blaze, scared out of her wits.

"The others? I saw my old pack, each of them... and some I didn't recognize actually." Khora stated like it was obvious. "My father was up on guard like I said he might."

"OK, that seems wise..." Khora nodded and padded over next to him. She nuzzled him sweetly. "So you love me enough to follow me into a desert and sandstorm, and stay in a ghostpack?" She asked him, a slight tease in her voice.

He squinted his eyes and laughed. "I wasn't gonna leave my pups behind" He said looking at her stomach. He laughed :" Yes, Yes I do love you that much" He licked her cheek.

Her ears pulled back and she shied away. "Well lets get all of us home then..." She looked at him, worry on her face. "I hope Raffiel isn't to mad... especially Artemis!" But she began padding bakc to the den.

after a few days of traveling, Holo found herself here "This sounds kinda like that place Khora described..." she said "Weird," she walked on among the sand dunes finding an old cave "I'm getting a bit tired, haven't slept in days... Maybe I will stay here." suddenly Holo heard whispers and thought she saw something in the corner of her eye she shook her head to lose the thought "I'm just tired..." she said to herself and layed down seeing more things, which as they moved into sight looked like wolves "K-K-Kh-ora!?!" Holo barked her eyes widening as she saw a little pup that looked very similar to Khora, and a few others that looked something like her

(Hehe yup!)

"Momma..!" one of the little pups barked bounding back to it's mother "That wolf came into our den and it's scaring me! Make it go away!" the mother looked thoughtful then said "I can't do that... she looks tired let's get her something to eat then let her rest..." everything was confusing Holo she just stared, jaw dropped in awe, at the ghost pack and did what she was told for a long, long time she wasn't sure how long it could have been months, or weeks, or days, or minutes, or even seconds but to Holo it seemed like a lifetime and she eventually loved the pack and they trained her. Showing how to catch the fastest little lizards in the desert, the strongest deer, and many other things. Soon she was a beautiful young female and well trained but she was not ready yet, she did not know why, she just knew she felt unprepared

and so she did and soon Holo was a f'in BA wolf! Very Happy

(but not as cool as this one! lol just kiddin bout it all)

And Holo trained and trained one day Khora's Mother's spirit said she was ready or something and she went back to the Golden Bloods (epic fail...)

One of the ghost pups tackles another they almost look like Holo and Rowan.

Holo gazed sadly at the pup... "Rowan... You remind me of Rowan. The reason why I'm here." she said and smiled, then trotted over to Khora's mother's ghost. "Errrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm... I think I'm ready to go back. Thank you for everything. I have come to think of you all as a kind of second pack or something. Goodbye." she nuzzled her and walked slowly out of the den and back towards the direction of home.

Khora raced through the woods and emerged into the sands, the heat gone in the night, replaced by a deep chill. She smiled, this was her home indeed. Without waiting to see if the two had managed to keep up, Khora took off, though at a slower pace, and headed towards a section of rock opposite to the old cliffs that had housed her pack. She didn't want to see the ghosts again... Now was not the time. Stopping at the three rocks, which loomed with an ominous height, Khora howled.

Lunar's ears fell back as she caught up with Khora, not sure why she had dragged them all the way out here.

Erebus crept onto the border, just barely standing up right. He sniffed, catching Lunar's fresher scent rather then Khora's. But of course they would be together. He began limping after Lunar's trail.

Khora paced back and forth in front of the stones, looking at them anxiously every now and then. Her golden eyes also darted at the moon, growing more fearful every second.

"Not yet, must wait for Echo to catch up." Khora responded, pacing still. Her voice began to growl with worry. Her pelt stood on end and every bit of the she-wolf looked on edge. "Not yet." She looked at the moon again.

Erebus managed to catch up and settled himself under a sand dune, the grains of sand masking his scent. He perked his ears, catching Khora's bit about waiting for Echo, and it not being time for something or whatever. He peered at the two, trying to ignore the terrible sting in his wounds from the sand.

Echo finally caught up panting. Where did these girls learn how to run? He could see Khora pacing and Lunar sitting and looking worried. He walked up, "Now Khora, what is GOING on?!?"

A lizard ran across the sand, making Lunar jump, startled, and her fur all spiked up along her back as she watched the odd little creature disappear. This place was so different from the forest that she was raised in. Everything was so unfamiliar. She looked at Khora again, watching her mentor with a confused expression.

Echo continued waking up until he was almost to Lunar. Then he saw how she reacted to the lizard and chuckled softly. He nudged her in the side, "Hey Lunar, it's just a lizard. There is better chance of you hurting IT than IT hurting you."
