Erebus entered the light forests with a air of gruesome intent. He opened his mouth, smelling the air and then began to stalk towards the pups' scents were freshest. The dark wolf stopped here and there to check the scents and keep on the right path. It grew to both his annoyance and amusement at how random their paths had been, going everywhere they could at any moment and then almost instantly changing their minds and going elsewhere. Pups...

Bo-bo kept following Erebus slowly. He knew he probably wouldn't be noticed until he revealed himself. He was the best at sneaking. As long as there wasn't any... He gulped, and shivered.

Murder was hot on the brain as Erebus found the pups. All but one were present, sleeping away. He twitched his ears and opened his mouth, fangs poised to strike. When he heard a crack, and swerved his head around. It was the oddly colored wolf, Bo-bo. Just over at the edge of the forest. Then a new idea came into Erebus, return the pups, and become a 'hero' then kill anyone he can, steal the last pup and that will leave them truly devestated! He liked this new plan so much better. So he shut his mouth and barked. "Little ones. Wake up."

Bo-bo stared. "You were going to kill them, weren't you? Don't try to deny it. I saw your eyes. I think about it sometimes... Why do they get to be happy? Why am I the only one sad? That's why I make fun of other people's pelts. It helps me feel a bit better. Are you gonna kill the whole pack?"

The puppies kept sleeping. They wouldn't be easy to wake at all, since they had been so exhausted before they fell asleep.

"What are you talking about?" Erebus barked, taking a step towards him. "I was going to pick one up, and I thought you were blind!" He felt a surge of anger. These wolves just can't leave him be! Always stalking him, and always being annoying! Not to mention sticking their noses in where they didn't belong. If he's here, that pest Lunar might be close behind. Stay alert. He told himself.

"Could you train me to be better? Please? I wasn't ever very good at anything. I was pampered, and expected to do everything perfect as a pup. It didn't work out." (Bo-bo's crazy. Just tellin' ya know.)

Aspen decided he had gone far enough for now, and lay down in the long, dark tunnel.

Erebus stared at him in confusion. "If you were a stranger I'd strike you down in a moment." He barked, "But sense you're here, help me with the pups." The order was harsh but when he turned to the pups he nudged them gently to stir them.

Seeing that it didn't seem he was going to hurt the pups, as Lunar had suspected, she turned away and hurried back to the den before she would be seen.

Erebus picked up the other one, "Isn't Aspen one of the pups? Where is he?" He barked, and then laid down the one he had picked up. Having realized he had to make the pup's absence known. (I forgot all of their names but Aspen's)

(Lilly, Ginger, Granite, Aspen; only Aspen shall live. He will be stuck in that dark, underground tunnel until his brother, sisters, and mother are dead. Bo-bo can die, or become something like Erebus's follower. I don't care either way.)

Bo-bo shrugged. "I dunno where he is."

(Why Holo, I think your absolute lack of care if they live or die is very useful for me to further Erebus's plans. 3:} )

Erebus snorted. "Take those two back. Tell their mother what's happening. I'll find Aspen." He barked, leaving Granite where he was. The young pup's scent was rather easy to pick up, and then suddenly went down into a hole to small for Erebus. So he began to dig, with a loud growl of frustration. Slowly the dirt gave way until he could see the pup's tail. "ASPEN!"

Aspen whimpered in fear at a loud noise behind him, and went further down the hole much faster than before.

Bo-bo took the two pups he was carrying back to the summer den.

"ASPEN WAIT!" He barked, digging as quickly as he could. No doubt this pup was the strongest out of his litter, and would be the easiest to train. His easy way of running off made it possible to seem like he had gotten lost when Erebus would spirit him away from the pack. Now getting him to trust him was a whole other story.

The hole started to widen up a bit, and suddenly it turned into a rather large caze. He looked around, and there were millions of paths. The floor was also covered in small pools of water and (stalagmites?). He ran off into one of the many tunnels, and happily yipped. Maybe he would get out! The yips echoed all over the cave system.

Erebus growled in frustration and roared after the pup, demanding he returned. "GET YOUR FURRY BUTT BACK HERE!" He snarled. The black wolf jumped into the hole, and began crawling after where he thought he had seen Aspen run off to.

After a while of randomly running around it seemed as though the deeper Aspen went into the cave the closer he got to the surface.

The tunnel got to small for Erebus to crawl along, so he had no choice but to backtrack and get out. He growled and snapped at the ground demanding the pup come up. "ASPEN!" IF the pup would always be such a hassle, he'd just kill them all.

After a while he reached a pool of water, and waded in. It was cold, and something kept touching his legs as he walked in the water.

Erebus started searching around, trying to find an exit to the system of tunnels. Maybe they were oversized hare tunnels. Yeah, that would make sense. The black wolf stalked around, growling in frustration.

Aspen felt something bite his tail, and he yelped. He swam faster, and finally reach land once more. He ran on, and bumped into a wall. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

Erebus sat and growled and waited. But the pup wasn't coming. Worry trickled in his pelt. Something was not right. He looked at where Granite lay, still sleeping and thought. He padded over and nudged the pup awake. "Hey, I need you to help me find your brother." He whispered.

Granite woke up, and stared into Erebus's eyes. Where were his brother and sisters? He heard the older wolf talking, and followed Aspen's trail.
