Jay lifted the females head up. "You are of friends here. No need to be scared.I'm Jay the Alpha of Golden Bloods, follow me and ill take you to the den." She stood up and walked towards the den looking only once to see if this newcomer was following.

Surprised, Belle hesitated for a moment, but when Jay looked back at her, she followed her saying, "Thank you."

Belle smiled and followed Jay back to the den. On the way there though, she could have sworn that she recognized a scent, but she just couldn't place it. She shrugged and continued on her way.

Ayalilla swallowed a lump in her throat, and gathered the pups together. "Let's go home..."
They gladly followed her back to the den.

As Belle reached the misty stream, she plopped down next to it and looked at her reflection.

Raffiel padded out, looking around almost bored. He didn't truly know why he had followed her, but it just felt right. Like when Khora felt lost while Blaze was missing. Somewolves just needed a friend. So he made his way over to her, grunting to let her know he was there. Stopping a tail or two away he spoke. "You know its getting late. What are you doing out here all alone?" The wolf asked, making his voice sound gentle.

Still fuming from her previous confrontation, this unknown wolf wasn't exactly the friendliest of sights to her. She narrowed her eyes. "Who are you and what do you want?" she asked rudely.

He rolled his eyes at her tone, recognizing that hurt voice from when Either Lunar Or Khora felt like that. So guarded and rude, but really just hiding the hurt. Raffiel stayed his distance, but padded to where she could see him without turning her head. "Its Raffiel. You know that wolf back at the den? I've been sleeping most of the day..." Other then when I nearly killed your mate. "Sorry for not properly introducing myself."

Belle, still not trusting this wolf, correction Raffiel, kept her eyes narrowed and locked on his form. "Ok Raffy," she said rudely, "What is it you want from me?"

Raffy? He quirked, and then shrugged it off. Actually he kinda like that sound of it. Sitting down, Raffiel started to think. "Well why are you out here?" He asked, acting as if he'd never heard the fight. Truth be told, he'd been half asleep so he hadn't heard must anyways.

Raffiel frowned. "Hey I'm sorry. I don't mean to offend you..." He blinked. "Are you alright?" Without thinking, Raffiel drew closer to her, lowering his head to check her face.

Belle felt his body get closer to hers. She quickly moved back and looked at him with a look of surprise. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!? I have a mate you know!"

Raffiel snarled a bit, I'm just trying to help! "I know that! Trust me! And I have a promised one! But if we're to be in a pack together then we've gotta be friends right? Packmates are supposed to help one another!" He lowered his voice, calming down. "And you obviously need some help."

Belle was taken aback by this at first but then realized this wolf was only trying to help her. "I-I'm sorry about that. I just," she sighs, "I'm sorry." Belle looked at her reflection in the river again.

Raffiel blinked, and then sat beside her carefully. "Its alright... I understand." He looked at her with a gentle gaze. Green eyes remained on her ice blue ones. Though he could just see the scar on the left of her face, he remained silent about it. That would be prying beyond reason. Swallowing, he spoke again. "So why are you so hurt? You don't have to tell me all of it... Just a bit.... please."

A growl rose in Raffiel's throat. So he's going around telling my promised he loves her, and then breaking his mate's heart! "That jerk!" He couldn't help it back, and then calmed down. "Would you mind telling me how?" Raffiel waited patiently for her response.

She was surpised to say the least at Raffiel's reaction, however she continued. "He wouldn't tell me why he wanted to be a healer."

Raffiel made a face of confusion. "What's wrong with being a Healer? My mother is... Do you not like my mother or something? Or just healers in general?" He asked, slightly more blunt then he'd have liked to have been.

"No, no that's not it at all. I quite like your mother. It's just something that my healer did back at my old pack." Belle said quickly. "Echo and I had made a promise to each other that we would never become healers."

"Oh..." Raffiel concluded, growing more and more upset with Echo. "And he just broke that promise today?" He asked, though it was a complete statement, they both knew he had. "Well there's a two-faced yellowbelly if I ever saw one."

"Any idea what that might be?" Raffiel prompted her, tilting his head to the side a bit. A wind picked up from the stream, the sun was already lower then the tree tops and the dim light casted shadows far and wide. But Raffiel didn't want to go yet now. He wanted to hear what she had to say.
