Xylon yelped loudly. Dodge, Xylons dad, who was never really far from Xylon, snarled as he jumped from the shadows and grabbed Granite by the back of the neck.

Granite let out a small yelp, this time out of fear rather than pain.

Dodge snarled and threw the pup away from Xylon.

Belle heard what was going on behind her and quickly spun around. She spotted a wolf with one of the pups in it's muzzle. She immediately sprinted towards him yelling, "LEAVE THAT PUP ALONE!!!"

Dodge let go of the pup and glared at Belle, snarling. Xylon stumbled away quickly, not wanting to be in the middle of this.

Dodge chuckled menacingly and took a single step toward her. "What are you gonna do about it?"

Belle lowered herself into a strong fighting stance and said, "I would suggest you not try me. I wouldn't want to hurt you." Belle narrowed her eyes, ready to give a lethal strike on a moments notice.

Dodge smirked and said, "You don't know who you're up against."

Belle smirked and turned her head to where the wolf in front of her could see her scar. "No. I know exactly who I'M messing with," she replied, "But do you?" She turned her head back to it's original position.

Dodge smirked, "You don't scare me, if thats what you think. Enough of this small talk."

Belle stopped smirking. "If that's the way you want it, then very well." Without further warning she lunged at him. She had him pinned in a very vulnerable position in seconds. She leaned in close to his ear and whispered, "Still wanna play hardball big guy?"

Dodge immediately snapped his jaws down around her muzzle, holding it shut. His eyes narrowed and he kicked her leg out from under her, pushing her off, but still held onto her muzzle.

Belle immediately pulled her two front paws up to his head and started digging her claws in.

Dodge ignored the sharp pain in his face. He bit his jaws tighter around her muzzle and growled low. He let go, shoving her backwards, then went for her neck, fangs bared.

She took advantage of him letting go and dodged his attack. Now they were in her are of expertise. She started using her speed to confuse the wolf in front of her, every once in a while giving him a small bite in the side.

Dodge growled louder, snapping his jaws at her each time she got close, but couldn't get a firm bite.

Belle stayed focused on what she was doing, making sure he didn't get to her. Finally she saw an opening. She lunged, landing on his back. She dug her teeth deep into the back of his neck and latched her claws into his sides. She was determined not to fall off.

Dodge snarled and pushed himself up onto his hind legs, then fell down, full force, onto his back, crushing Belle.

Belle let go, trying to find her breath. She rolled away from him and stood back up, glaring at him. She studied him for a second. She had gotten him good. "Are you sure you want to continue this little fight?" she taunted, "cause you have a nasty looking wound there on your neck. You know, you could give up now and we all go home safe and happy, or... you can continue fighting in which case you would start to rapidly lose blood from your wound not being allowed to close properly. Your choice."

She looked back at the pup that was now cowering behind his mother. She looked back at him and said, "I don't think you have to worry too much about that. Just be sure to do the same with your pup. I noticed that he attacked first. So please, try to keep a tighter leash on your kid." Belle said this with utter disrespect.

Dodge flicked his tail with annoyance and turned to Xylon. "Walk," he ordered. Xylon nodded and quickly hurried off. Dodge followed, glancing back at Belle for a moment, then dissapeared into the forest.

Belle sighed and walked back over to Jay, head down for running off when she was talking to her. "I'm sorry for running off when you were talking to me. It was rude and insubordinate. Will you please forgive me?"
