Pantera seemed to go deep into thought. Then she randomly started walking to the exit. "Come."

Pantera walked into a room with several supplies, supplies normally only she would be allowed to have or use. Among these were knives, 4 guns, and 3 sets of armor designed by her to match the typical things Mages would wear. "Take all the supplies you need. You and I are going to the technicians." she said. She grabbed a pack and about 10 knives, 2 of the 4 guns, and 2 sets of armor. "If this doesn't work out, then we are going to need everything we have at our disposal."

A wide grin forced itself across Sam's face. She couldn't help it. "Really? You're going to try it?"

"If you are willing to come with me and help me out, then absolutely. I am tired of having so many of my people die or be in fear of their lives because of this. It just isn't fair to them. So, Sam, are you willing to comply?"

Sam hesitated and said, "Pantera, I work for someone else. My mission was just to convince you of this. Perhaps you could contact Lazarus, the Technomage leader, then you two could then work together to get Athens to listen."

"Well technically, I can still have you in custody for the murder of one of my guards. And if that were the case, then I could keep you with me for as long as I wanted." Pantera said. She turned around and smiled. "I am sure you would want to check up on how Petra is doing as well anyways. Am I right?"

"No offense, ma'am, but I cannot work for you. I am loyal to my leader. Seeing Petra would be nice, but I cannot work for you."

Sam sighed, "I hope that's how Lazarus will see it.. Okay. I'll help, I guess."

"I think Lazarus will be just fine with it. Considering the only way you are getting me down there is coming with me yourself. If I don't go down there, then you wouldn't have finished your mission. Then you couldn't go back to Lazarus anyways. That's the way I see it."

"The sooner the better. I already sent a guard explaining the situation to my advisor. I will be temporarily leaving him in charge. There is a pack over there for you." Pantera pointed to a pack on the table. "Grab all of the supplies you want and or need. Then we will be off."

Sam grabbed the pack and started filling it with a few small things, then said, "I'm ready."

"Ok then, lets head out." Pantera walked out of the room heading down the hall. She eventually exited the building, heading into the woods nearby.

"I just hope Petra hasn't caught her attention too much. That could spell trouble for her. All she has to do is get caught using magic once and Athens will go on a rampage trying to kill her."
