Lunar lifted her head to look at Dinae again. The thought of food made her stomach growl. "Uhm.. A little."

Dinae laughed a bit at this. "Well I have two rabbits and what is left of a caribou just to the left of the den over here. So you have options." He motioned to the food.

Lunar stood up, smiling. "You must be one good hunter to be able to take down a caribou all on your own." She padded out of the den and looked over at the partially eaten carcass. After thinking about it, she padded over to it and sniffed at the carcass.

"It really isn't hard if you have the speed to get all the way in front of it. From the front, you have a clear shot at the throat." he explained.

Lunar nodded, "Makes sense." She started picking at the carcass.

Dinae sat there, studying her body. She really is beautiful. No, she wouldn't want to be with me. What am I thinking?!? I am thinking that she is the most beautiful creature on Earth and I can't have her. He let out a sigh.

After a few minutes, Lunar finished eating. She licked the blood from her muzzle and looked at Dinae with bright eyes. "That was very good. Thank you. Thank you for all this." The pitch black female stood up and shook her fur before looking around the area once more. She started padding around the outside of the den, exploring.

He watched her as she wandered around. He found himself staring at her. He couldn't help it. She was, in his mind, perfect. Why he thought this of a female he had just barely met, he didn't know.

Lunar sniffed around at the edge of a tree before she found herself face to face with a squirrel. The squirrel made an odd screeching sound and bit Lunar's nose before it scrambled up the tree. Lunar yelped, not expecting it, then looked up the tree with angry eyes, growling quietly.

He couldn't help himself now. Dinae broke out in laughter, rolling around on the ground.

Lunar looked at Dinae in disbelief. "Oh, that's funny, is it?" She quickly started padding toward the male, a dangerous look in her eyes.

"I'm sorry but yeah, it is." He continued laughing. He tried getting up but he just fell back down.

Lunar stopped only a few steps away from the brute. She glared at him, though, found it amusing that he couldn't even stand up from laughing so much.

At once he gained control of himself, he stood up, still chuckling. "I am sorry, but I have never seen a squirrel do that before, and your reaction..." He started laughing again and fell to the ground once more.

Lunar could help but smile at that, no matter how much she wished she wouldn't. She waited patiently for him to be done.

Finally, he gained control of himself and got up off of the ground once more. "I really am sorry. I just haven't seen anything that funny in a long time. My apologies to you, Lunar Eclipse." He gave a slight bow.

Lunar's tail started wagging and she asked curiously, "Have your eyes always been that color?"

Dinae looked down trying to hide his eyes and frowned. "Yeah." He said quietly.
