Jaquelin limped through the forest awkwardly, quite a distance away from the other wolves. She glanced around at the ominous woods quietly, sitting down under one of the trees as she licked her paw quickly. She had gotten caught in a snare a few weeks ago, and was able to break free, but the loop of fine rope had dug deep into her skin. The fur around her paw was crusted with dried blood, and the gash was swollen and seriously infected. She has no knowledge with herbs and how to use them, and didn't know anyone that did. She whined quietly in pain as she kept licking the wound.

Through years of living and hunting on his own in these woods, he had refined his hearing. Dinae's head shot up. "Shhhh... you hear that?"

"Come on. Stay low and stay quiet." Dinae took off in the direction of the whimpering.

Lunar perked her ears, confused, but curious. She hurried after him.

Dinae came up behind this new wolf. Another wolf? He padded quietly up to her and tapped her on her back and stepped back a bit.

Jaquelin made an odd squeaking sound as she jumped up in shock, turning to face the strangers with her bad leg lifted up awkwardly. She lowered her head shyly, her bangs falling in front of her face as she took a step back.

Lunar looked at the new stranger silently. Does this happen often? She then noticed the wolf's leg and froze.

Dinae took one glance at her and posed her as no threat. "Are you hurt?"

Jaquelin eyed the two wolves up and down for a moment in confusion, pondering if she should trust them or not. She nodded quietly.

"How long has that wound gone untreated?" Lunar questioned.

"Um... It hasn't been... Since I got it about 3 weeks ago.." She said in her quiet voice.

"I can help you," she said quickly, taking a step closer to try and get a better look.

Dinae took a step back and observed. Then he thought of something. I have aloe vera plants growing near the den. There are cobwebs spread throughout the area as well."

Jaquelin's ears flattened and she stepped backward as Lunar got closer, not entirely trusting them yet.

"I doubt there will be any in this forest. But, it's green... And leafy." Lunar wasn't good at explaining things.

Jaquelin sat down carefully, watching them. She started licking at her wound again.

"Ok. Are the leaves like bristles or flat? And are they large leaves or small? Think shape."

"The leaves are flat, rounded around the bottom and pointed at the tip. They're small leaves. It's a bright green, too."

Dinae smiled."That's better. Are they a sun plant or a shade plant? And a dry area plant or a wet area plant?"

He smirked. "Yeah.I think I know just the plant you are talking about. I will be right back." Dinae took off.

Lunar look at Jaquelin again and asked, "How did this happen?"
