Dinae screamed and went backwards, wide eyed. When he landed, he landed on his bad paw. This drew a loud yelp from him as he curled up around his paw into a ball.

Lunar's eyes widened and she rushed to Dinae's side, "Are you alright?!"

"It hurts..." He managed to whimper.

Guilt bubbled up inside Lunar and she sat down at the male's side. The young female gently nudged Dinae with her nose to try and get him to uncurl from around his paw so she would be able to look at it.

Dinae slowly uncurled from around his paw, taking deep breaths. When he unveiled it, it was bleeding again. there was blood once again matting his fur, except this time all over his chest and stomach due to him curling up.

Lunar's expression was wiped clean when she saw the blood. All emotion left her but the guilt. "Oh my.." Her ears pinned back on her head and she lowered her head, hating herself now. "I'm so sorry..." Lunar stood up again, shaking her head lightly. "I'll go get something to fix that.."

Dinae nodded slightly and curled back up into a ball, closing his eyes against the tears that were threatening to come out.

Finding what she needed, Lunar hurried back over to Dinae. How could she make this up to him? It was completely her fault this had just happened. Guilt still flooding her emotions, then young female sat at Dinae's side once more and waited patiently for him to unwrap himself from the injured paw once more.

Dinae could feel her presense next to him. He knew that she was waiting for him, that he needed to uncurl himself again, but he really didn't want to.

After waiting patiently for quite some time, Lunar gently nudged Dinae with her nose again. "Come on. Let me help you."

Dinae waited a bit longer, but forced his body to uncurl. As he did so slowly, the red from the blood started showing again all along his chest and stomach as well as his paw.

Lunar gave a small, reassuring smile and gently began licking the blood from his paw, before she got to work with the herbs and such.

Dinae winced when she licked his paw. He knew he needed the medicine, but it just hurt so much! He turned his head away and clenched his eyes tightly together.

After preparing the herbs for a minute, she gently applied what was needed to the wound. "I'm sorry about that," she apologized quietly.

Jaquelin opened her eyes slowly, now looking at the rabbit that was lying limply on the ground on front of her. She sat up slightly, lifting her bad paw off of the ground as she glanced over at Avo, who she assumed was asleep. She sniffed at the hare cautiously, unsure.

Avo couldn't help grinning. Did wolves grin in their sleep? He didn't know. He half opened one of his eyes and peeked at her. (That could be wrongly interpreted. Herpa derp.) "It's not poisoned or anything..." he said after a minute or two. "Even if it was, all the plants around here can only do little things like give you a stomach ache, or a rash, or put you to sleep. Well, I guess that last thing isn't THAT bad. But it isn't necessarily a good thing..."

Jaquelin jumped slightly at his sudden voice. Though what he had said didnt really help her doubts. Though since she was hungry enough, she started nibbling at the rabbit timidly.

Avo got up and walked over to a nearby tree that was covered in moss. He rubbed his cheek against it, smiling. "Rabbit's ear moss... So soft."

Dinae barely heard what Lunar had said. He didn't want to look stupid for answering with something stupid, so he just stayed quiet while he let her work.

Lunar was hoping for some kind of response. Would he hate her now? She should've never done what she did. Lunar didn't say anything else as she continued to gently work on his paw. Once done, her ears leaned back close to her head as she said simply, "That'll help.. Just try and stay off of your paw, same as before."

Lunar gave a small nod as she stood up and turned away, walking off. He probably wanted to be alone anyways.

Dinae frowned at her retreating form. "Hey. Where ya goin'?" he asked sounding kind of sad.

The female paused, glancing back at Dinae as she said, "I don't know. Just giving you your space.."
