"I could use the left over gumweed I still have... That could work with some cobwebs. Except, the gumweed is more for a wound with infection. But it would make the wound heal faster," Lunar was mainly talking to herself, trying to decide whether to do it or not.

"Oh well. The gumweed will have to do," she said finally. Lunar stood up and hurried into the den, getting the last bit of the gumweed plant she had. The young female picked it up and brought it back out to Dinae, dropped it in front of him, then said, "I'll be right back. Need to go find some cobwebs." Lunar turned away and hurried off into the trees.

Dinae nodded. He sat and waited patiently.

After a few minutes, Lunar returned with the sticky webs caught in the fur around her neck. She went to Dinae's side and scratched the webs off, setting them on a rock that was near. "I need for you to trynot to move your paw, okay?"

Lunar lifted his paw some so she could get a better look. She again licked off the blood that covered the wound, then turned her attention to the gumweed plant, beginning to chew it up. Once finished with that, she put some of it on his paw where it was opened, then took the cobwebs and wrapped them around it to hold the gumweed in place and help stop the bleeding.

"Well, I think your paw may just fall off," she spoke seriously, trying to get him to believe it.

A large grin broke out across Lunar's face when she saw his reaction. "I'm kidding. You'll be fine."

"Just doing my job," she said quietly, her cautiousness from before was coming back again.

Dinae saw her attitude changing again. "You hate me, don't you? You only did that out of moral beliefs." He sighed, ducked his head, and turned to leave.

Dinae stopped and turned back around, looking back up. "I can't tell. Ever since my "mouth slipped" you have been treating me like a monster."

Dinae put on a confused look. "Why would you need to be cautious?"

"Oh, I don't know. I'm a female, wandering around all on her own. As my friend warned me, bad things could happen. I just don't feel so comfortable around you right now."

Dinae frowned. "And you honestly think that I would do that to you???" Dinae asked sounding hurt.

Lunar fell silent, now having doubts about her own thoughts. She watched him silently, not replying.
