Dinae stood silent. "Lunar, I understand you lying to me about your mate... it's fine. I-.. I just don't want you to abandon me... I'm not saying to leave your mate. I just want you to still be there for me.." He said shakily. "And I'm really sorry this happened, Raffiel... I never wanted to hurt anyone."

Lunar nodded to Dinae. "I will be," she spoke reassuringly, or at least what she hoped was reassuring. She then turned her attention back to Raffiel and listened to his words, thought for a moment, then and looked into his eyes as she spoke, her voice finally beginning to become steady again, since her sobbing had seemed to have faded away, "These pups are yours, Raffiel. There's no doubt in my mind.."

Dinae went to say something, but stayed quietfor a moment to think it through. "Lunar... Are you sure?"

Lunar looked at Dinae and sighed. "Dinae... These pups are Raffiels. They were yesterday, they are now, and they always will be Raffiels..." The young, confused female then added hesitantly, "Regardless." She then got up and moved out from under Raffiel's protective guard. "He is my mate, and any other outcome would be too confusing and complicated for everyone, especially for my pups." Lunar shook her head as she once again added on more. "I'm sorry Dinae.. But I am sure that these pups are Raffiels... And if my pups do end up being split by having two different fathers, my pups will and do deserve to have Raffiel as their father, especially considering the chance he may be Beta of the pack. It is what is best for them. As is having a father that their mother is with. If there is a chance you may be the father, I don't see any reason why you couldn't have a part in your own pups lives, but they will still be Raffiels... As I am also, Raffiels."

Dinae hesitated, but nodded slowly. He looked sadly at Lunar, but became determined. "Fine.. but on the of chance that it is a split fatherhood, I would want to be a part in their lives. And I would want them to know that I am their father." he said, shaking from anxiety.

Lunar looked to Raffiel for help. She didn't know what else to say. She wanted to make things right for all of them, but she also didn't want her pups to have a complicated life, where they would be separated by fathers. If some were Raffiel's, then there would be a chance of Dinae's pups not feeling as important, or entitled, as Raffiel's would be, considering who Raffiel would be and she did not want that for them.

"I will not stop you if they have some of you in them." He stated firmly, meaning every word. "And if they are not mine at all, I will still treat them like they were and assure them that you and I are both of their fathers. As I think we should do it even if they are completely mine." Raffiel looked at Lunar gently. "He cares for you, perhaps it is not so bad for them to know that as well?"

Lunar nodded, her eyes falling to the ground. She wasn't so sure about the idea, but it was what Raffiel had wanted, so she would accept it. "Okay." Lunar then sat down and muttered, "I don't know if I can go back... I don't know if I can face the rest of the pack after that... And most of all, I certainly don't want to bring my pups into a pack that Erebus is leading."

"But he won't be the only one leading it Lunar." Raffiel reminded her. "I will be there, Desiree will be there, Cheyenne will be there, Khora, Jay, Rowan, Holo, Echo, Bella. We'll all we there, and that is what matters. I cannot abandon the pack, and I don't want to lose you. And we will never lose the pack, because it may have two wolves at the head, but it is as strong as those within it. Besides, maybe when they get older the betas will become the alphas. And then look who won't be in charge and who will be." The male laughed lightly, trying to get her to warm up.

Dinae took a deep breath. "Thank you, Raffiel... I concur with you on the subject." he said, sitting down and relaxing a bit. "And Lunar... I do not look to take you from your mate. I only with that I be there for the pups and that we still be there for each other. We can still at least care for each other without it being romantic..."

Lunar nodded to Dinae, giving him a soft smile. She listened to what Raffiel said, then turned to him, "But everyone will know what I did... He was right. I am a hypocrite."

Dinae shook his head. "You have made one mistake. And EVERYONE makes mistakes. I don't think he has a right to be calling you a hypocrite off of your one mistake when you have done so much good."

Raffiel rolled his eyes mockingly. "And since when have we cared for his opinion? No matter how accurate he was, Erebus is an absolute jerk who says what he does to better himself." The grey wolf assured her.

Dinae sighed. "Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make that assumption since I don't know hardly anyone at all here."

Lunar's ears fell back, and she nodded, "I guess you two are right. But it's still hard to face the rest of the pack, now that they all know what I did."

Lunar found herself smiling once more. "Thank you..." The young she-wolf stood up and moved further into the water, cleaning herself up. Her black fur turned glossy and silk-like as the water soaked into it. She figured she might as well clean up before heading back. She was a mess right now.

"Not to mention if they don't, they'll have not just me but Dinea to answer for that." Talking with every bit of encouragement and promise, Raffiel gave Dinea a warm look.

Lunar simply shrugged, still not wanting to go back. Although she knew that she must. The young female stepped out of the water and shook the water from her fur.

Lunar padded up to Raffiel's side, smiling at him as she nuzzled her head against his shoulder. The she-wolf looked over at Dinae, then started heading back toward the den.

Dinae fell in stride, staying close to Lunar, but hopefully not too close for either her or Raffiel. For the most part, he stayed quiet while walking with them.
