It took all Erebus had not to burst into laughter. "Yes, some even more so. Like our main healer Khora. Or Bo-Bo." Erebus said.

Windrunner looked at his injured leg once more, "What is this called?" He asked looking at the cobwebs on his leg. Feeling more relaxed in the new environment he let his muscles relax.

"The cobwebs or the poultice I applied?" Erebus asked jokingly, noticing how the pup relaxed. He had to admit, seeing the pup relax brought a smidgen of relief to him. Erebus wanted the pup to feel welcome.

"Both, and what do they do?" Windrunner asked not catching the joking tone in Erebus's voice.

Erebus mused the dangers of telling the pup but soon dismissed the few, crazy ones that came up. "Cobwebs are used to slow down bleeding and all together stop it. The poultice is a mixture of burdock root and coltsfoot to fight infection and reduce swelling." He explained.

Windrunner resist the urge to bite at the area where the cobweb is and ask "How long do I have to have this on?"

"The rest of the day is a dead certain. Perhaps the whole following day. It up to the healers really and your cooperation." Erebus responded father a bit of thought.

Windrunner sighed and plopped his head down on his paws "Can I at least go back to my hole to get something?" He asked with the sweetest voice he could muster in hopes of being allowed to get up and wonder around.

One eye narrowed in playful suspicion, Erebus gave the pup a questioning look. "And where might this hole be exactly?" He asked Windrunner.

"It's back in the fields of tall grass near where the fox attacked me." Windrunner replied. "There is a fallen tree that is mostly hallowed out, I dug I hole around there that I stayed in for a short time." Pausing momentarily he added "I left something there that I want to get, and it might even be helpful to your pack."

"We could go by and grab it while on the hunt." Cheyenne suggested. "It would also be good for the pup, with learning how to hunt and all. It'd be good observation time." she added, shrugging."

Echo shrugged. "I just know. It's like a gut feeling I have. Something about you just seems rather special." he said, shrugging. "Besides, you're MY master now. My mentor. I'm supposed to look up to you and everything you do and stand for." he said with slight humor in his voice, as if trying to lighten the mood a bit.

A small growl emanated from the black wolf as he shook his head, "No way. That would require you to move far too much, even if we were accompanying you. Tell us what it is, and we'll get it for you." Erebus suggested instead.

Windrunner sighed disappointed that he wouldn't be able to go. "It's a small container of herbs that I've gathered from around several different areas, and when I was chased out of the last pack I was in, I was able to sneak into their supplies as well, so it contains many different herbs, including some not known to this area." He said "If you can find the log take about three steps towards its center and start digging, it's down a good ways because some of the herbs have a strong scent." With that he yawned, turned around, and placed his head on his paws before quietly dozing off. Not wishing to tell them what else he had in the container.

Lunar walked into the area silently. She had left for a couple days since she hadn't been feeling well, and didn't want to bother anyone. The female sat down under a familiar tree and observed the others, not quite sure what was going on. Lunar had figured out why she wasn't feeling her best, and now knew she was pregnant, and a small baby bump was there to prove it.

Cheyenne sighed. "Ok, Erebus, let's go. Daylight's a wasting!" She said in an urging voice.

Dinae sighed. He was sitting under the shade of a tree when he saw Lunar pad into the area. He smiled and walked over to her immediately. "Hey, Lunar. How's it going?" He asked in a puppyish voice.

Lunar smiled, her eyes full of joy from her discovery of being pregnant. She was excited to see how Raffiel might react. "Great," she answered Dinae as her tail wagged softly from side to side. "And what about you?"

Dinae flipped over on his back, still looking up at Lunar. "Great, so long as you are!" He barked happily. He looked rather ridiculous on his back with his cheesy, puppyish smile and his tail wagging lightly.

Lunar giggled at the sight of Dinae. She looked away as her laughter slowed, then asked Dinae, "Do you know where Raffiel is?"

Dinae frowned and his tail dropped at the thought of Lunar's REAL mate. He sighed and rolled over, sulking. "Somewhere around, I guess.. I don't exactly keep tabs on him..." He replied quietly.

Lunar looked at Dinae oddly, then realized why he was suddenly acting different. She frowned slightly, then muttered, "I'm sorry, Dinae..."

Dinae shook his head. "Is fine.. I know he's your mate and that you love him... and that I should respect that." He said quietly, laying his head down on his paws, still sulking like a pup.

Lunar gave a small, fake smile to Dinae and bent down to him, licking his cheek once. She stood up and said, "I do care about you Dinae. You are and have been a very good friend to me. I don't know how I could thank you enough for all you've done for me." She then looked around once more, a bit disappointed that she couldn't seem to spot Raffiel.

Dinae sighed and glanced over Lunar. He stiffened and turned serious instantly as he noticed her growing belly. "L-Lunar... You're pregnant!" He gasped, not able to take his eyes off of what he was seeing.

With a nod at the pup's words, Erebus started off for the misty stream with a slightly relieved mind. He'd managed to help the pup, and he should recover, I wonder if Khora would be pleased. He gave a snort at his thoughts and pushed them away.
