"Awwwwwwwwwwwww! IT'S LIKE SOME WEIRD MUTANT PUPPY GIRL!" some of the humans cried out, and huddled together to decide what to do. THis left an opening, and Holo quickly sprang to her feet and ran like her life depended on it (which it probably did.) She was now halfway across New Mexico in about 4 hours and 37 minutes.

Kyle then heard someone walking up the fire escape and sat up to see who it was.

Holo stopped running, about three fourths of the way across New Mexico and just padded along, now in her wolf form again. She needed to be careful, or she might start getting to used to being a giant wolf and not want to be human again. That would be dangerous.

A man holding a bag over his shoulder appeared and looked at Kyle. "Hello, Kyle." The bearded man said. Kyle never met this guy before. "How did you know my name?" He questioned the stranger quickly.

Holo shrugged, so what if she didn't want to become human again? Humans wore itchy clothes! Clothes weren't fun... Feeling like you only had two weak sticks for support wasn't fun either. She walked on through New Mexico...

The stranger had a large grin on his face, "Theeee ol' worman sent may to folloy you and mat sure you doi'nt get youseff in a wreck of de' ol' trouble." The man's odd accent was strong. "Why would she do that?" Kyle questioned. The man dropped the bag over on the roof and climbed up the rest of the way, stepping over the ledge and started walking toward Kyle. "Well, boy. You geet youseff a bunch of ol' huntiners aftle you. Don' yeeea know that?" Kyle shook his head slowly. Then the man continued, "You geet youseff meebe over one hundlrend huntiners comin' to get you b'cause of all thea trouple you been causin' lately boy."

(That's when it is easier to be a middle aged pretty lady werewolf with a hundred hunters coming after you, rather than a man... Most hunters are boys in my world Sad

so she can trick 'em if she hides her tail and ears.)

Holo slowed as she neared a police box at the border... What is that? she wondered but dare not go near it. She turned back human, just in case and ran for it, across the border where the pull was strongest. She was glad for a moment. Until someone saw her and pointed her out to the police. Now they were chasing after her... No getting out of this one, was there? She ran some more, hoping maybe that she would lose them.

"Trouble?" Kyle questioned. "Define trouble." The man nodded and answered as he sat down, "You've been ruubin de banks. Thieftin vehicles. Scaring whole'em towns. Eeeh.... And youl've been walkin' arone' with stolen itooms in that theeeeere pack of yours." Kyle thought about the mixed up words and was kind of surprised that he understood the man very well. "So what can you do to help me?"

"Come here,RUNNING PROVES YOU'RE A FUGITIVE!!!" the police pursuing Holo called. "WHAT THE STARS IS FUGITIVE!?!" she called back, and ran faster "STOP CHASING ME, YOU CRAZY HUMANS!!!!!!!!"

The man Burst out laughing then got serious and said, "I do noffen to help you boy! I am no wolf boy like youseff!" Kyle shook his head and got up, packing his stuff back into his backpack. "I have somewhere to be. And if I catch you following me, I throw you to the hunters and say your the werewolf." The man's face went serious with a kind of fear and he nodded once, "I won't follow you anymore." Kyle was now confused. The man was speaking clearly? How? He was just talking nonsense! Kyle shook his head to clear his thoughts then headed for the fire escape.

Kyle climbed down the latter to the fire escape on the side of the building and began walking down the steps. Once he reached the bottom, he started walking on the sidewalk, no real destination.

A bunch of people stared at Holo as she passed. She was still in her wolf form. They probably thought she was either just a large wolf or dog since she was walking on all fours. She COULD stand on two, but she remembered how much that used to scare humans back in the 18th century...
