Lunar just watched him. She didn't really know what to do. After a moment, she managed to say, a bit bored, "What do you want to do?"

He shrugged. "How about..... What was that phrophecy about you about?" He suddenly asked, this had been bothering him for a long time now.

Lunar didn't know how to answer. She shrugged slightly and said, "Uhm...." She was sort of clueless. "What prophecy?"

"What the old wolf said before she died." He said sternly, his voice filled with fear and worry. "It was broken, but she had said lunar, and moon and I think something else."

Lunar sat there, dumbfounded. She had been avoiding the subject because she didn't even want to think about it. She quietly said, "I don't know."

She smiled and licked his cheek, "I'll be fine. Who knows, that strange wolf might have not even known that Lunar was my name."

"It its a lunar eclipse." He suggested and looked at the pale moon rising. "I've heard about them... My parents would tell me stories about magic that comes with them."

He shrugged though. "Powers of sight or wisdom granted to wolves. Wings spurting from some's backs. The ability to see the future is my favorite. But they are only stories. Some say it can bring back the dead..."

Lunar perked her ears forward and said, "I've never heard of that before.." Then she sparked with excitement and her voice boomed, "THATS SO COOL!"

He grimaced. "Cool as they may be, they only happen every 50 or so years... I think." He looked at her sternly. "Please don't be like my sister and let this fill your head to the point you go looking for one."

Lunar looked at him a little surprised. "You have a sister?"

"Well of course." He laughed. "I wasn't the only one in the litter." He looked in the direction of his family's den many seasons ago. "I was the only one brave enough to leave the fighting..." He mummbled, the horrid memories of fangs being bared at loved ones, and blood being shed. Barks and snarls of hate at mates. He shivered, the memories drifting away.

He looked at her in suprise, his eyebrow ridges having raised. "What? Why?" He asked her bewildered. "You weren't the cause of it, nor did you know about it. Why should you feel sorry for me? I left it all behind because it wasn't right. No reason to feel regret."

Lunar squints her eyes as she thinks about it then giggled a little and said, "You react so strangly to some things. You know that?" She leaned her head lightly on his shoulder and said, "I do love you, you know? I care about how your feelings and it's obvious that it was a bad past."

Lunar lets out a quiet sigh then removed her head from his shoulder and looked around.

He suddenly tackled her, pushing her against a rock. "I got you!" He laughed, and cept his mouth on her throat softly.

Lunar looked at him, startled. She almost seemed to be frozed then argued, "Not fair!" She laughed and pushed at him, trying to get free.

He laughed and pushed against her to counteract her attempts. He then shuffled his feet to tangle hers, restricting movement. "The enemy would never be fair. Good thing I'm not the enemy!"
