Lunar hurried over and knelt down by the dog. It was breathing heavily. She pinched the loose skin on it's cheeks and it very slowly moved back down. "It's dehydrated." Looking at it's eyes and gums, their odd paleness concluded her thoughts. The tail looked to be possibly broken and it had several scratches on it, but they were hard to see from it's long fur. "Oh this poor thing."

"Your house is closer now, lets hurry and get him there!" He exclaimed, the black pelt was matted to. "We don't have long do we?" He asked her, gently placing his hands under the dog which was a beagle sized dog and started jogging to her house.

Lunar shook her head, "I don't think so." She pulled out her phone and called someone, "Hey, get to my house... Yes now! ..... Just hurry. It's important!" Lunar hung up and quickly hurried after Raffiel. She pointed to her house, "It's that house right there."

Raffiel ran up the steps of the house and whispered to the dog. "Its alright, its alright... Don't worry...." He whispered to the dog, rubbing its ears in comfort.

Lunar opened the door and walked in quickly, leaving the door open for Raffiel. "Mom! Jay, are you here?" Lunar called out in the house. She quickly rushed toward the kitchen table, "You can bring the dog over here."

Raffiel didn't say a thing. He laid down the dog and ran to get her water.

Lunar sat down on a chair and pet the dogs head between it's ears. Nina ran in and slammed the door behind her, "What is so important that I ha-" She cut herself off when she saw the dog, "Jesus Christ, Lunar! What did you do?" Lunar glared at Nina, "Me and Raffiel found it. It looked in pretty bad shape." Nina didn't notice Raffiel was in the room. She smiled, "Ooo! You and Raffiel!" Lunar scowled, "Oh shut up Nina and get over here!"

Raffiel scowled at Nina, he didn't like her. He brought a bowl of water out to the dog. "What do we do?" He asked her.

Nina looked at Raffiel, barely noticing he was there for the first time. She shrugged, "I'll tell you when I figure out what happened to it." She looked closely at the dog. Lunar explained, "Nina works in the Kennels section of the animal shelter. She deals with the dogs and such. they get a lot of stuff like this. That's why I called her." Nina looked in the dogs' ears and make a disgusted face, "It's infested with ticks! I'd say it was in a fight. Probably ran away, or abandoned from the condition it's in. And she's rather dehydrated." Nina got the water and put it by the dogs face to see if it would drink.

"Ticks, tick bath then." He suggested, and poured the dog more water for she was lapping it down madly.

"You don't have to pay, Roan..." Holo said quietly and put down all her money to pay for her and Lunar. "I don't want to trouble you..." she added, then stood beside him.

Nina touched the dogs tail and said, "Its got a fractured tail. Definitely need to be shaved too. its terribly matted." Nina quickly put her hand in front of bowl bowl then said sharply to Raffiel, "If she drinks too much, she will vomit it all up!" She rolled her eyes. Lunar quickly said to Nina, "Haven't you heard of this thing called being nice?" Nina looked at Lunar, "Sense when did you start acting like a spoiled brat."

Raffiel made a motion to make them grow quiet. "The dog is what matters!" He yelled, and moved the water from the dog. "I'll get scissors or a something to cut the fur." He ran to the first bathroom he saw and ran back. "This'll do?"

Lunar nodded, "That should work." Nina rolled her eyes again and sat down. She crossed her arms in front of her and said, "Fine. You obviously have this under control." Lunar tried her best to ignore Nina. What had gotten into her? Why was she being so rude? She never acted like this before. She then asked Raffiel, "Can you start cutting off the matted fur? I'll go get some scissors from my bedroom. It'll be faster if two of us are doing it."

He nodded, and already took the scissors and began on her right flank. The dog showed no signs of improvement from the water and Raffiel gritted his teeth. "I refuse to let this animal die because you don't want to help right now." He nearly growled at Nina, snapping his head up. "So get your bum over here and help us!"

Lunar quickly ran up the stairs and into her room, opening and closing boxes, shelves, and her closet. She knew she had scissors in here somewhere.
Nina smirked and made a sarcastic remark, "Can't you see? I'm doing more than you are."

Raffiel glowered at her, and simply worked on the dog's fur. Soon he was on the other side of the dog's flank.

Lunar found the scissors and rushed back down the stairs. She hurried over and started cutting the fur from around the dogs' neck, mumbling, "I swear the scissors were trying to run from me.."

Raffiel rolled his eyes and then moved to cutting the legs.

Lunar finished around the neck and started to cut off the fur that was inside the ears. Nina sighed and stood up, "Why are you guys doing this?"

Nina laughed suddenly, which made Lunar jump slightly from the sudden sound. She was scared easily from the memories that haunted her of the past. Nina shrugged, "Then why don't you guys just take it to the vet or to the animal shelter?" Lunar paused.

Raffiel slapped his wrist again. "STUPID!" He muttered at himself. "You're right Nina, we gotta do that."

Nina and Lunar both looked at Raffiel when he slapped himself. Nina smiled, "See. I told you I was doing more than you. I was actually using my head."
