Blaze looked up from where he sat, on the steps that led to his house. He blinked at the figure that had emerged from the shadows.

Khora stood there, not knowing why she had stopped or why she hadn't started moving again. Her mind said to keep walking, but her body wouldn't respond. So she just stood there, stuck between going up to the house, or going home.

When they were a few blocks away Midnight stopped torturing her brothers. "Now you can talk... Idiots! Probably ruined the whole thing! Now she might know, and that might screw up her life. That's EXACTLY what we were trying to avoid!"

Blaze's hand automatically moved to the place where he kept his gun, in his belt. But when he reached for it, nothing but air met his fingers. Letting his arm drop to his side he studied the figure, "Hello?"

Khora tightened, and then realized how creeper or bad this looked. She swallowed, no choice now. So she walked to the door and knocked, quickly coming up with a reason for her stopped by at maybe six or seven.

Lunar closed the door to her room and sat down on her bed silently. That couldn't have been them. It couldn't have. It was just some friend's of moms... How could it be them? There is no way. Everyone died. They all died...

Blaze squeaked the door open, and peered out at Khora. His expression softened, and suddenly he was self conscious of his messy hair. "Khora?"

She blushed lightly. "Uhm, hi Blaze. Sorry for stopping by so late. I was on my way home from work and I wanted to say how much I appreciate what you did. With the robberies and all. Raffiel wanted me to say hi for him. I think he wants to be a cop because of you." Khora felt her cheeks grow hot as she spoke, if it wasn't for her skin tone she might have been a wild red color.

Holo heard the door to Lunar's room close. LUNAR! She tiptoed as silently as she could over to Lunar's room and snuck in. "Lunar..!" she hissed. "Are those people still here!? It was freaky! They looked EXACTLY like us!"

Blaze smiled faintly, "Yea, no problem..." He paused trying to muster the strength to final ask her what he had been dying to, "Say hi to Raffiel, from me..." He said chickening out.

Lunar looked at Holo. "Yea, they're gone... And yea, I guess they did kind of look like us..." After a long moment of silence, Lunar asked Holo, "You think they're our siblings? What if they didn't all die? What if we just got split up?"

Holo stared at her. "You know... Maybe! They looked like us, and they knew my name even though I'd never met them that I can remember. IT COULD BE!"

Khora stood there awkwardly for a minute and then gave him a small nod. "Well then. Uhm, night officer." She said, starting to back up and then looked around in despair at how dark it had grown sense she had stopped there.

Blaze hesitated, "Here, let me walk you home..." He blurted out stepping outside.

She blushed, "Thanks." And waited for him to reach the end of the sidewalk before she began taking a few steps. "We moved into a new house, down along the street. Its farther then the old one."

Blaze nodded, slipping his hands into his coat pockets, "How's raffiel been?" He stepped at the same pace as her, watching the grey sidewalk pass beneath his feet.

Khora thought. "Well he likes that we live next to his crush now." She said, smiling lightly. "He doesn't have to say it, he's smitten with the girl." The proud mother laughed slightly. "And he won't shut up about being a police officer."

Lunar shrugged, "But what if it isn't? What if... What if they really are dead? Holo... My dreams have been getting worse. And I don't know if I can handle being crushed by that sort of stuff again..."

"Mmmmmmm... I've been having the dreams too. WE could always just find them and ask him! We saw the oldest one and the lady earlier today. We could just try to find them again and talk to them about it... Or we could ask mommy."

She paused, "Maybe. But if you don't mind my asking. How dangerous can your line of work become?" Khora was obviously worried.

"Your right to be concerned, I guess it depends on where your working, but it can get pretty dangerous..." Blaze said glancing up at Khora.

She grimaced. "How long have you been on the force?" Khora asked, trying to lighten the mood.
