The two threw back at each other, and he believed her. So she heard him sigh, and within a few moments. Saw his black scales on the horizon.

Bast did a well job of marking over his territory as he always did. Though, it didn't seem to keep the intruders out. While flying overhead, he spotted a young and fit purple dragon walking through his forest. Bast had snuck up behind the young stranger and did the usual. Scaring them senseless. But the young dragon was tougher than BAst had imagined. It tried several times to breath out fire at Bast, but it was slow and week and wasn't even very hot. Must have been a defect of bad breeding. Bast smashed the young dragon into the stone wall of one of the cliffs that led into the mountains. It retaliated by doing a rather good job of cutting Bast's chest with one of it's long horns. The bleeding was the least of his worries. He had to get this dragon out of his forest, or kill it before anyone started to think of him as weak. Bast stopped and calmed himself, slowing his heart rate and breathed out the toxic gas right into the young dragons face. The stranger first started choking, then started twitching around as it's body had unnatural spasms, then it fell over completely limp. Bast stepped on the intruders head, clutching it with one of his oversized claws, then flew back into the sky and tossed it's body out of the forest. It would be dead in only about another 15 minutes.

I could flip you off right now you know!
Then I'd freeze your wings and you'd fall as well. There was a moment of silence and then...
I hate you...
Leilani found herself smiling at that one.

Bast hurried himself to the river to wash the blood from his chest. He couldn't seem injured to any enemies or else they might start trying to take over his forest, as they usually did. He landed by the river and quickly used his wing to splash his whole front torso with the cold water, in the most ungraceful way possible.

The black dragon, who Leilani didn't care to learn the name of, flew lower to the river, her weight was a bit much. How far do you need to go this time?
The southern plains.
WHAT! THAT'S A THREE DAYS FLIGHT!
Is that a problem? She extended her claws to the base of his neck, and the black dragon froze. Not due to her, no Bast was up ahead. And he wasn't able to gain altitude.
Were're screwed! They thought simultaneously.

Bast watched the blood rolling off his body into the river as he water had splashed it, turning the water into a light pink around the area Bast was standing by. He suddenly began to feel eyes watching him and he turned his head around furiously. He then saw a black dragon carrying the dragon from before on it's back. He narrowed his eyes at the two and his snout started to slightly lift upward as he let out a low growling hiss. He used one wing to practically push himself into the sky with a tree and started moving quickly toward them, eyes locked on his target and set to kill. He was not in a good mood.

Yayulung flew over the river in Bast's territory... She was lost. Again! She sighed then she and her water dragon escorts froze and spun around to see Bast hurling himself at two dragons. The two ater dragons flew ahead of their mistress at her command and made a thick wall between Bast and the other dragons. "HALT!" Yayulung screeched. "THERE WILL BE NO FIGHTING ON MY WATCH!" she snarled. She despised fighting! It was a horrible thing like a disease, a foul addictive disease! Once you started fighting most couldn't stop the urge to kill. She grimaced at the thought of how she had been a few days before... A savage killing creature, wanting blood. She shuddered then flew closer.

Bast came to a stop, some-what confused from the sudden floating water. He had never seen such a sight before. He was getting confused easily now from the loss of blood from his chest because he did not get the chance to fix his wound properly. The tree he had pushed himself into the air with had caught hold of the open wound and made it bigger so there was quite a thick stream of blood rolling down his body.

"CAN'T YOU STOP YOURSELF!?" Leilani hissed at the black dragon who was painfully trying to get away from Bast.
"CAN'T YOU FLY?!" He hissed back. They didn't realize they were saying the words aloud as well as in their minds. But as the other dragons blocked the way Leilani gave a thankful look at the new arrivals. She looked down at the water, and blew lightly on it. It froze over, just enough and the black dragon landed with a heavy thud. Leilani slid off his back and he shook himself to gain his bearings.

Bast was now getting dizzy and he hurried to land himself on the ground. His eyes were darting back and forth, fighting from letting them roll back in his head. He had lost too much blood. Now he was stumbling. Stumbling backwards. With a loud crash, Bast fell into a line of trees, suddenly unconscious.
Aken picked his head up quickly, his sensitive ears hearing the trees. He assumed it was a fight and decided to go check out what was going on. He took flight and started heading toward Bast's forest.

Something shot through Leilani, and she ran to Bast. "Don't help him!" The black dragon she was growing acquainted with growled. Leilani ignored him though, and turned the limp body over. "He's bleeding! Get me some moss!" She ordered, and saw he wasn't moving. With a sharp turn of her head, and a flash of blue scales she hissed, her mind reaching out to him. "You will help him or feel my wrath..." She called out to him, her mind pressing against his weak barriers. His red eyes grew wide and he took a step back. He felt her, there not there before him and all around him. Her mind, harsh and yet precise was bearing down on him in a violent manner that made his whole body tremor. "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! I'LL DO IT!" He roared and ran into the trees. With a huff, Leilani looked back at Bast and tried to clean the wound.

Aken saw an unusual clearing of fallen trees then noticed Bast with a few dragons around. He grew concerned and hurried over, "What happened!?" Bast was his closest friend.

Yayulung flew down to Bast and said quietly "Maybe I can help... I know some things about healing." and she let the wall of ice fall.

(The black dragon is now officially an actual one of my characters so...)

Name: Dominic (Props to Luney for that one!)
Age: 490
Looks: Black scales, MUSCLE, red eyes, low ivory horns that curve forward, long snout and all other appendages. He large enough to carry a full grown dragonness on his back and fly.
Personality: He hates people invading his turf, aggressive, and pushy. He's a bit on the stupid side.
powers?: Fire, thunder tail (Basically he snaps his tail and a large shock wave is made)
Minions?: Haha more like he's become Leilani's minion!
Other: Has a special mental connection with Leilani.
Random box which I might think of a use for later: Has a secret fascination in Leilani and everything about but refuses to admit it.

Dominic returned with herbs and dropped them. "Well that was pointless." He growled at Leilani who was staring in awe at the healer. "Dragonness?" He asked at Leilani, realizing he didn't know her name.

Aken was getting angry that no one even considered him being there. He grumbled something to himself and stomped over next to his friends' head then looked at the gash across his chest. Aken now looked concerned, "He was in a fight. But.. Why didn't it work?" He was questioning himself. He paid close attention to the unfamiliar scent of Bast's blood. Then suddenly it clicked. Why he was bleeding so badly. Why it smelled different. Why he was acting different. Aken growled to himself, "Oh, crap." He didn't bother explaining anything to anyone else.

Leilani looked up and suddenly took notice of Aken. "You, what's what's wrong?" Then she thought wildly. "Is he poisoned!?" She jumped up and sniffed at him, she hadn't been around Bast long the other day, and his scent didn't seem wrong to her. "What is it?"

Aken growled rudely, "He's not poisoned, you idiot!" He still did not answer the question though. After a moment, Aken pushed Bast's head a little, "He'll be fine."

Leilani tilted her head back, and let out a low growl. Her scales flashed blue. Why do your scales turn blue when you're angry? I just noticed they do. Dominic asked her, walking up behind her. He didn't care if Bast lived or died, heck he'd prefer if he died! But Leilani didn't and he wanted to know why among other things. I'm half blue dragon, half silver. I keep my blue under control, mostly. Its really want made me able to fight you off. I haven't been able to control it much lately though. She said in his mind, her voice was slightly angelic like this.

Aken lifted one of Bast's eyes open, completely ignoring Leilani. Bast's eye moved and Aken quickly let go. He poked at Bast's snout with his wing and a little electric bolt shocked Aken and he made an odd squealing sound before jumped backyards quickly. Bast wasn't really unconscious. He was temporarily paralyzed as his body was draining the blood.

Not knowing exactly what would happen, the two talking in their minds jumped back as well. Leilani's amber eyes stayed on Bast, while Dominic's stayed on Aken with mistrust.

Aken grinned and mumbled to Bast, "Now I know where you got your name from." Bast was actually awake. HE was aware to everything that was going on. He was just stuck. He could no move, nor talk, or concentrate properly. It was all because of what he had seen. It changed the blood inside of him, mixing it with a nicer and calmer sensation that would change him completely. But his body would not allow it. When it had gotten the chance of getting cut open and bleeding heavily, it took it and his body paralyzed itself to get this better part out of him so he would return to the killer he always had in him.

Yayulung sighed and gathered some of the melting ice wall's water, then drew up water from under the ground and the plants. Soon she had a large pool of water floating above her head and she went up to the injured dragon, Bast and made the water surround him like a healing forcefield. "You stay styill now, mister." Yayulung said to Bast as if he were a frightened child. "Stay still please or you'll break the water's concentration and it won't be able to heal you."
