DUane found the salamnder nests, just as he thought! He ate quickly, so that he wouldn't be caught.

Duanne scampered fastly away from the nests, he had been caught! Now there were angry fire salamander parents chasing him! HE WASN'T A FIRE DRAGON! HE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO RESIST THE BURNING FIRE!!!!!!!

Duanne hid from the fire salamanders on top of a rather large boulder... Their one fault! They couldn't look up or down! Very Happy

Aken got back to the volcano and sat down at the bottom to rest. He wasn't use to having to walk this much. Usually he just flew everywhere.

After a while the salamanders went away, finding no traces of him but his scent. They firgured their nests were out of danger, but Oh no! Duanne would strangle them here, with the shadows and eat all the salamander eggs he wanted! He crawled back down the rock and silently murdered each one of them as they walked back down the volcano...

Leilani nodded, not wanting to push. "Where, uh where should I stay?" She asked him, sweeping her tail over his absentmindedly.

Dominic had burned the entire western plains in an hour. He stood among charred grass roots and he found himself seething still with rage. Why was he so furious. And as the smoldering of grass, dirt and everything within the whole plains died down, he felt so... empowered. His scales rattled darkness setting in.

Leilani's head snapped back, and she cried out in agony. "No!" She exclaimed and lashed about in pain. "A powerful dragon will give rise, and danger will loom for all in its path the day it seeks power among dragons." She echoed, she had nearly forgotten about those words. But now, she knew who it meant.

Dominic is the dragon. That will destroy so much.

Bast smiled and went to answer her then when she cried out and started thrashing around, he lost his focus and bumped into the wall of the cave, making parts of it crash down. "Ow!" He growled as a large stone hit him in the head. Then Bast hurriedly asked, "W-What's wrong?"

(I came up for a little minion my little egg shall get! I have decided it is yet another her and it's name shall be Valencia! In honor of a friend who is leaving the country for a few years...)

Powers of da minion!: once a day can summon the help of a powerful spirit, it recieves the blessing of this spirit and can heal any wound no matter how bad! As long as the wounded thing has good intentions that is! Other than that it is mostly just annoying and can only heal minor scratches and cuts... Something like that, anyway!

As she began to settle, her scales were rattling still but calmer. A horrifying image of the destruction around Dominic glowed in her mind. "I, I did not tell you... I can see the future. A few days ago I had a vision. It was unclear but a powerful dragon will give rise, and danger will loom for all in its path the day it seeks power among dragons." She said, as though it was an ancient legend. "Dominic, the dragon that was with us at the river. He is that dragon. I... I felt it."

Ami wandered past some giant dragons, those things always scared him... Their voices were like rockslides... Or volcanos erupting... Or was that a volcano errupting? He squeeled and ran for it as he saw what he thought was lava coming down the volcano but was actually just the huge fire salamanders.

It took her a moment to think and form her thoughts. She knew it would be easier to simply show him. She extended her mind to his, brushing his surprisingly strong mental barriers. It was like brushing who he was. Do not worry. It is me, Leilani. I am a telepathic dragon as well. Its what has allowed me to see the future in part. I talked to Dominic like this, and it forms a connection, a bond of sorts. The more we communicate, the stronger the bond. I felt him, how might I say. Awaken?

Bast looked around oddly. He saw her mouth wasn't moving but he heard her words. He had never seen, or heard for that matter, anything like it. He was completely and utterly in some kind of shock. "How are you doing that?"

Leilani laughed. As long as I could live. Just think, and I will hear you. She moved next to him, her head but only a few inches away from his. Look closely at my forehead. She said. There was a small scales that was a greenish color. For some reason below this scale is a part of my mind that allows me to project my mind out to others.

Leilani felt his mind brush hers and the sound of his voice in her head was so full of wonder. She smiled. Yes I can hear you. Don't be shy. Just, maybe be careful what you think eh? She was close enough to hear his heart beating just inside his muscular chest. She was practiced enough not to share any more, personal thoughts. But she wondered to herself how well Bast would do.

Curling her tail around her legs she shook her head. No, only what you want me to hear. If you are careful, I will only hear certain things. Otherwise I might hear something you don't want me to. She looked into his eyes, so sure of himself. There was a bounding in her chest and she looked away from him. Just had to.

Bast thought about it for a few moments. He was completely calm and actually rather proud of the situation. He started getting a stronger feeling of attraction for her and wondered if she knew that. Well, this will be interesting. he thought for her to hear.

With a playful flick of her tail, Leilani nudged him. What will be interesting hmm? She asked him, the danger of just a bit ago was drifting away. Dominic would take time to grow strong, right now. They had time. She gave him a smile and then looked absentmindedly around. Waiting for his words.

Bast returned the smile and said aloud, "Whatever you manage to overhear in my thoughts." He was acting almost the complete opposite of how he usually did. His guard was down. He was calm. He wasn't trying to kill any dragon that stepped foot in his forest. It was almost like he didn't care.

She felt happy there, for some odd reason. She leaned against him slightly. "Hmm lets just see. If we don't talk after a while. The connection will fade away and it would be as if nothing ever happened. I must tell you to though. Once the connection becomes strong enough, intense emotions will transcend between both ends of the bond." She whispered, gazing at his wing joints.

Well then I guess I'll just keep talking to you and see what happens. He thought. Suddenly, his heart jumped slightly and he almost felt like something was sucking his insides out, leaving a hollow inside with nothing but a shell covering it. He ignored the feeling though, making it very distant from his mind.
