Leilani tried to get some control over herself, wondering what had driven her to where she was. She looked away, but the majesty of where they were, the lovely crystals and dark cool rock surrounding them. It was a little hard not to focus on Bast.

Bast then realized he didn't even know her name. He shook his head to clear his thoughts then said suddenly, "I should go check my borders. I've left them unguarded for too long." He quickly rushed out of the cave and said, "Sorry, but I will see you later, I guess." He quickly left, taking to the sky without another word. He couldn't believe now that he had allowed for himself to get off guard.

Leilani watched him go and then looked down. "I'm a fool..." She whispered and curled up in a corner where the rock was softer. She closed her amber eyes, and saw nothing but Dominic, and his fury.

He had moved on to the north, and came across a green dragonness. She had a slender body and curled horns. The dragonness was kind to, as she saw Dominic flying overhead she smiled and waved her tail in greeting. It was mistake. He curled his wingtips and swooped down upon her. With a swift motion he killed her by biting her neck. The dragonness had no chance, her face still friendly while blood dribbled down her neck. Dominic took flight again, killing every dragon he saw. After an hour, that was three dragons other then the first. He felt a bit stronger now.

After what Leilani had told him about what Dominic was going to do, Bast was going to make sure that he didn't come anywhere near his territory. And if he did, it would probably not be a nice and easy fight. But Bast was prepared. He had fought many dragons his whole life, from the time he hatched from an egg. He fought siblings, cousins, friends, uncles, aunts. By the time he was a young teenager, he had killed his first dragon. Ever sense, he had been feared by many. But he still had his concerns about Dominic.

Dominic was slowly falling into a darker world. He stopped using words. As he crushed the head of a hatchling, who was crying out in pain. Her siblings' limp bodies strewn across the nest. The parents were dead as well, mother and father both slain before their children's eyes. She cried out for help or anything for him not to kill her. She even offered to become his minion. Hmm minion, that might be nice... He thought, and was suddenly shown with an image of Leilani who was pleading for him not to kill the child. He had no idea if it was really her, but it made him angrier and he killed the little blue hatchling without mercy, making it slow.

Bast had checked over all the borders twice and decided it was enough. He decided to return to his cave, not sure if Leilani was still there or not. He was started to get confused for why he had let her stay in the first place. Then the confusion left for a few moments, then came back again. He couldn't get his head wrapped around it.

Tiempo was a fine young dragon now. The black scales, with white tinging, glowed in the moonlight, next to Sce's black and red scales. Sce had been training this hatchling for Bast and was ready to show her qualities. Even if Tiempo was a black dragon, she held her powers well.

Leilani opened her eyes in horror. Had she truly seen Dominic kill a whole family for no reason and torture the little blue hatchling. Or was it all a nightmare. By the fires she prayed it was a nightmare and yet a feeling down her spine told her it wasn't. Trying to shake it off she thought about Bast and weather or not he would be done with the patrol. At a sound at the cave entrance she took it as a done.
A smile crossed her face.

Bast had landed in front of the cave entrance but was looking into the sky. He saw Sce and the hatchling from the days prior. He was actually impressed that it was flying so well. He had an unusual soft spot for the little one. But he didn't even know it's name yet, if it was even named at all.

Sce dove off the tree top. The cool wind felt nice after being struck by lighting in the past few months. Reaching Bast's cave she called for him. "Bast, want to see your hatchling?"

Bast smiled and walked over quickly, "Of course."

Sce let out a shril whistle.

The young dragon sped through the air. Landing gracefully infront of Bast. "Hello Bast," she bowed her head.

The whistle got Leilani's attention and she left the cave to investigate. She looked at the two dragonnesses, and felt a slight swirl of jealousy. She told herself to calm down and looked at them oddly.

Bast knelt his head down by the young dragoness and smiled kindly to her, "Hello, there. Did Sce give you a suitable name?"

"She named me Tiempo. It means "weather" in spanish."

Leilani smiled a bit, not knowing how she was suppose to act to these two. Tiempo was rather young, but Sce seemed old enough to be set in her ways. If she was the kind that was hostile, well Leilani might be in big trouble. Aren't there any males here? It can't be all girls can it? She wondered to late to realize she had sent that to Bast and wanted to bury herself in a hole.

Bast glanced back at Leilani and chuckled slightly. Male don't usually enjoy their time here. He answered Leilani through his thoughts. He looked back at the young dragoness and said, "Show me what you can do."

Leilani looked down, and then straightened herself up.

Dominic prowled about the sea with a burning rage, he felt Leilani's joy and yet no matter how far he went. She was still there, a reminder. He growled, and sent fire blasting down the sea turning some to vapor in a split moment. Then there's a flapping of wings and a voice calls out to him. "Have you seen a silver-blue dragonness around here? With amber eyes and a rather smooth body?" It was a male dragon with bright green scales and a large build. "What about her?" Dominic replied gruffly, smoke rising from his nostrils. "She was suppose to meet me here some days ago, I'm afraid we never met." He drifted off, and before he could get away from Dominic claws were in his shoulders. "So you're her friend that dragged her up to the sea and got me tied up in her mind!" He growled angrily.

Tiempo flicked her rail to the side and snow started to fall. She flicked it to the other side and it turned to acid rain.

"Weather dragons are very dangerous," Sce growled.

Leilani let out a hiss as the acid rain fell and ducked under the rocks. She just get her wings back, and refused to let the soft membrane be eaten away in a youngling's show of power.

Bast looked around in awe then praised Tiempo, "Good job!" Then he told her, "Not make that stop, I'd rather not have my forest damaged." He then looked at Sce and asked, "How well has she been training? Has it been difficult?"

The rain stopped instantly.

"Some of it was dificult and some easy. Though flying for her was the hardest."

Bast nodded and said to Tiempo, "Keep up the good work. When you're older, you'll be happy you did." He turned away now and started walking back to his cave entrance.

Leilani didn't bother with going out, even if the rain had stopped. She took a few steps back, and then went further back in the crystal adorned cave. She felt Dominic's bond with her slowly weakening, and she didn't mind one bit. Though strong emotions like anger and rage still transcended over to her. She felt as if her simply content might be passing over to Dominic, and perhaps even Bast. It was a little hard to tell who was sending her what. She had never communicated with two people at once before.

Bast crawled back through the entrance of his underground cave and laid down, still near the entrance, quietly. After a moment he asked Leilani, "What is your name?" He still never got the chance to find out her name. He felt rediculous having to ask that question, like as if he knew but just couldn't remember.
Aken reached the top of his volcano again. He never saw the little egg-eating dragon, so he just looked around quietly, hearing an odd noise. He looked down into the volcano and saw an egg floating in the lava. He watched it in awe, wondering how it could handle so much heat.
