Aken got really excited and his eyes widened, then when Duanne spoke, he shot a glare at him and frowned.
Bast shook his head. Fine. You win. I'm too 'unskilled' for that.

There was another crack. This time it really was the egg. A tiny hole appeared, and there come from it a glint of light. Then the egg broke apart and a little head popped out. Little compared to Aken at least. It was a light brown and gray, with the little horns coming out from it's head and curling downward... AS with most dragons it's colors would probably darken and change a bit over time, except for it's eyes. Eyes like fire. Every time they moved around, they looked like little dancing flames.

Aken got excited again as the egg was breaking. When the little head stuck out, he just sort of froze and stood there, starring at it. He had no idea what he was going to even do with the baby inside the egg once it hatched. He was just very curious of what it was that lay inside. Now what?

The rest of the body popped out a minute later, after a small struggle. The hatchling made an odd kind of clicking whine, and sat down. Staring at Aken and wondering how he had gotten that big.

Duanne shrugged, then said "Let me eat it? Or you could name it and raise it, like most other booring dragon parents."

Leilani chuckled, her amber eyes grew a bit lighter. It was foreseen you would lose. She mused at Bast and stopped herself from ramming right into him. Instead she flew a tight circle around him.

(Girl. It is gonna have the power to control earth! So pretty much it can control rock in any state of matter! Same with crystals and stuff! Very Happy

Powers of da minion!: once a day can summon the help of a powerful spirit, it recieves the blessing of this spirit and can heal any wound no matter how bad! As long as the wounded thing has good intentions that is! Other than that it is mostly just annoying and can only heal minor scratches and cuts... Something like that, anyway!

Leilani scoped out the lay of the land from the air. To that large section of hills. She gestured with her head to a forested hillside perhaps three miles from them. To far or to short?

The little hatchling sneezed, and somme lava seeped throug the volcano under her... "opsaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!" she squeeled, and splashed around in it like small kids will splash around in a puddle.

As Onyx ran, the lava fell off or cooled and when she went back after Aken, she was pretty much clean...
