Bast opened his eyes and smiled. Sure. Can you tell me about how my next few days will be? He hadn't moved sense he laid down in the entrance, but now he sat up a bit, curious as to what would happen.

Leilani nodded, and pressed her hand against the ice. Her eyes faded to a pale icy white color. Her jaw tightened, and scales rattled. There was a quick flash of color in her scales, blue flooded before changing back to the pale silver blue. Looks rather normal for five days. Dominic won't do anything against you, the young dragon will train well. But there are a few things that are uncertain... She trailed off focusing on the pond more. There was an image of herself in it. Bast was there as well of course but something kept flushing between them. She paused. There is something strong and prominent, but it can change...

Bast moved his tail closer to himself. Sounds like a good few days to me. He closed his eyes again and said, "You should get some sleep. For what I know you have been traveling quite a lot lately."

Leilani couldn't disagree and curled up on the ground. It was a pleasant sensation as the cool touch of the stone ran up her legs and along her spine. Though she felt herself as lonely there and closed her eyes trying to get away from such feelings. She couldn't stop herself though. As she fell asleep it was filled with Bast, and images that would be embarrassing should he see it as well.

(Time skip....)

Sunshine filtered in through the small den entrance. It danced across Leilani's eyes and she awoke after a few grumbles. The past few days seemed unreal to her and yet she found herself there. In Bast's cave and laying no more then five feet from him. She uncurled herself for that's how she licked to sleep and spreads her wings. After a satisfying pop she flattened them back down and gazed at Bast.

Bast started opening his eyes then looked around absentmindedly. His eyes met Leilani and he smiled. Goodmorning.

"So I'm guessing that I still am not allowed to eat that egg that you are always hovering over..." Duanne said, drearily.

Leilani blushed a bit, he had gorgeous eyes. Morning, I see you still want to talk with your mind. I must say I like that. Makes it that much more private, and no one can overhear us. She felt her stomach growl and smiled. Mind going out for a hunt together?

Bast quickly got up and swiftly crawled from the cave. Once outside, he stretched his large wings out and said to Leilani, "Lets go."

Aken watched the egg carefully, not answering Duanne.

Leilani followed silently, her small body made her agile and nimble. She opened her wings once again once outside and took off.

"What should I do now, highness?" Duanne asked. "Go spy on elk again? Or maybe on that rather large dragon your so scared of..." he said, he had learned quite a bit about Aken since he had been made a slave by his own words. Then the egg started to wiggle faintly... After all these years of never moving except when touched, or given heat... It started moving!

Bast started heading toward a place where he knew there was always animals. Aken looked at the egg excitedly!

Leilani tilted her wings and dove down to follow him.

Dominic opened his red eyes, a cow was grazing in front of him. "Stupid cow." He growled, and sent a jet of fire around it. The cow fell dead and Dominic walked over to it and began eating. "Huh, steak...." He murmured and chewed more.

Bast landed by a river and quickly trapped a herd of deer with his wings like a fence. "Take your pick!" he told Lielani as he held the live deer together.

Leilani landed next to him without a sound and laughed, "Are you a herder now?" She mused and snaked her head up to look at the frightened, trapped deer. There was a fat buck trying to get out. "Oh, the spirited one!" Leilani licked her scaled lips and lunged her head to take him out and kill it with a swift bite.

Bast picked a doe and tossed it in the air,freeing the rest. Trying to show off he went to catch it in his mouth, but missed and got embarrassed. He scooped it back up in his jaws.

Leilani laughed slightly, "Nice try. But its harder then it looks you know." She threw it up, and missed as well. "See? Ah well, at least the meat is extra tender now." She playfully joked and dug into the buck.

More then good. Leilani finished the buck and then took off into the air. Show me what you got. She challenged him, doing a few loops in the air and waiting for him to accept. Less you're to scared, or unskilled. She made a funny, taunting face at him.

Psshhht! I'm not scared! Bast answered, accepting the challenge. He quickly flew straight into the air, going very high rather quickly. He went up above a floating cloud and turned around, spiraling back down quickly straight toward Leilani then just before he almost flew right into her, he stopped and shot a lightning bolt from his throat into a cloud in the distance. The extra energy and electricity caused lightning bolts to shoot around from around the cloud in all directions, making a loud and bright light show. Can you do better than that? He asked with a grin.

Leilani grinned, Lets see. She took one strong flap of her wings and scaled high into the sky. With the lightning still striking down around her, she looked almost angelic for the way her pale blue scales reflected the energy. She barrel rolled once, a moment before she would have been struck by lightning. Then she dove down, her wings flattened against her back, she was in a free fall spinning and twirling. At the very last moment she opened her wings up, and soared into the sky, dodging his lightning with mere moments before they would hit. To finish she climbed high into the clouds above, and turned herself, angled to come back down on him.

The egg wiggled around some more.... And then there was a sharp !CRACK! "Oh, sorry... That was me, master. Seemed to have stepped on a twig." Duanne said and grinned.
