Leilani opened her eyes and took in the surroundings. At first all she saw was blackness and it scared her terribly so. But then the warmth from Bast told her she was in the cave. She craned her neck to look into his eyes and gave him a small lick once again.

Leilani shrugged. "Just woke up." She purred lightly to him, and then popped her neck. "Ow..." She grumbled and looked around.

Bast brushed his tail on the ground and asked Leilani, "How are you feeling?"

Onyx started to whine about something, and Duanne hit her. "I told you to shut up!" he hissed.

Aken turned around quickly and smacked Duanne, pushing him over violently. "Keep your filthy claws off of the kid!"

Duanne whimpered as he was struck, and he cringed. Onyx made a happy gurgling sound, then gazed apologetically at Duanne. It only lasted a second, and she romped over to Aken. "No fight! No fight..."

Aken looked down at the small Onyx and nodded. He stepped away from Duanne and sat down, glaring at him.

Duanne muttered something that sounded like "Need me to do anything?"
Onyx swun her head arond, and said "HUNGY HUNGY! Tummy be rumbly!"

"What, may I ask... Do hatchlings eat?" Duanne asked. "I never knew... Do you know?"

Aken shrugged, "I don't know. Just go find some small things. Such as fish or something."

Dominic, having returned from scouting, looked at the two with confusion. "Who and what are these annoying things?" He asked indicating Onyx and Duanne.

Aken turned to see Dominic and replied harshly, "That is not your concern."

Dominic bristled slightly. "If this is to work right I need to know all who you want spared." He growled lowly, though his face was cold. "IS she your egg?" He asked. "And the other one her caretaker and your minion?"

Dominic took that as a yes and he smirked.

(I just realized I had Dominic scouting and he magically returned??? Gonna edit something)

Aken looked back at Duanne, and repeated, "Go find something small for her to eat."

Dominic stretched, "You've got a fair amount of land. Plenty of hunting grounds. But I saw the forest, bigger. Think your volcano's got enough lava to take it out?"

Aken turned to Dominic with a serious expression, "Do you know nothing about lava?" He sat down, ready to explain, "It only takes a bit of Lava to take down anything. Once the lava reaches the edges of the forest, even if it starts to cool off once it's in the forest, the trees and plants will catch fire from the heat. And because I am able to manipulate lava to my advantage, I could always re-melt the parts that have hardened and redirect the energy of it to make it flow farther into the forest."

Dominic flashed a toothy grin. "I was just trying to see what you knew and can do. But no, I don't know much about lava other then it hurts to touch, and is very destructive." He admitted.

Aken shook his head disappointedly. "It's going to work. The lava will work, that is all you need to know."

Duanne picked Onyx up in his mouth, a hard task now because she seemed to be growing bigger by the minute, and he carried her down the volcano. "If only I had wings..." he grumbled.

Leilani looked around boredly, while it was foolish of her to move around much, she wanted to fly. To be out and free again.

Bast got up carefully while he spoke, "I've got to go check the forest. Will you be alright on your own for a while?"
