Jaquelin's eyes widened and she yelped, lifting her paw up and examining it quickly. She thought that he said her entire foot was falling off.

"What're you yelping for? Now they'll be after us, whoever they are. Whatever. One moment." Avo quickly tore up some rather long pieces of grass. "May I wrap this on your wound?"

Jaquelin's ears flicked back as she grew silent, nodding her head slightly as she held out her paw to him.

Avo started to wrap the pieces of grass around her foot. When he was out of grass he tucked a few ends carefully under other pieces, and backed away. "There. That should hold for a while since that mush is sticky." he licked his muzzle. "Tastes like... Gumweed? Yeah, it'll definitely stay for a while. By a while I mean a few hours to a few weeks. You never know because it depends on all kinds of things."

Jaquelin nodded and looked down at her paw for a moment before gently resting it down on the ground again, only to lift it right back up as a sharp pain rippled through her leg. She sighed quietly and looked around for a moment before limping toward a nearby tree, sitting down underneath it.

"Yeah, you shouldn't move to much." Avo said. "It really hurts and it's dangerous, like I told you." he sat down a bit away from the stranger, pawing at some moss on the ground. "The moss here is really soft... Probably rabbit ear moss." he murmured.

"There's a lot of useful plants here. I've already found seventeen different poisonous trees, and so many herbs I've lost count. That's not including the plants that are edible but don't have healing properties. And it's also not counting the non-edible plants!"

Avo had been studying the stranger as he talked, spouting out some of the most basic knowledge. He paused and took a breath, wondering if she was even listening. "Your pelt is lovely. I was named after a fruit because my pelt is the same color. The fruit is called an avocado, so I am Avo Cado. But I prefer to be called by just one of my names. Avo or Cado."
