Kyle glanced at a small yellow flower that was all by it'self. It gave him another memory of his old life.
The Memory: Kyle let go of the clutch of the dirt bike and it launched forward. He held onto it with dear life, as if he was a regular human that could hurt himself so easily even when he knew he would have been fine. The dirt bike slammed right into a bush and Kyle went flying forward. He landed and rolled on the hot desert sand and stared up at the sky. He could hear everyone running toward him, but he decided to let them panic and he didn't move. His little cousin was the first to be at his side, "KYLE! ARE YOU OK!?" The little boy shrieked. Julia was right behind the little boy, wearing her riding outfit, "Hey, idiot get up. Your fine you have been through worse." Kyle smiled and sat up, "If you were to say that and I was really hurt, you'd regret it." Julia laughed, "You have no proof of that." She put her helmet on and pulled the dirt bike from the bush and said, "Watch and learn, weakling."

Colsa growled. "What are you?" She called out.

Klaus stopped. He waved Colsa on. "Go. I'll catch up. I've got something up my sleeves." he dug around his bag and pulled out a bunch of wires and a number of questionable boxes. He starts wiring them to trees and some on the wet ground. Since it was already wet, he didn't really have to dig.

She nodded, grunted and bursted out with even more speed. The red wolf easily cleared more and more of the swamp, knowing thousands of acers laid out before them.

Vampire... just great... Colsa growled inwardly. God I hate vampires! Can't you just get rid of them already? Or let the humans catch them all?

The mines were set. Now all he had to do was to keep his promise and catch up with her. He couldn't leave his new partner with whoever this Jaclyn was anyway.

Colsa could hear gun shots, and bullets began whirling by. "THEY'RE IN FRONT!" She yelped, How didn't I smell them!? She skidded to a stop and bolted to the right.

Guns. Wow. Just perfect.
Klaus took the long way around, running right to their backs. He neared the closest gunner. His victim heard him and spun around. Too late. Klaus grabbed his handgun, and twisted his arm to the back, before smashing his elbow into the hunters neck. He brought up rhe pistol, and proceeded to shoot the other hunters in the back. Now, they were focused on him. Colsa should have enough time to escape, he thought, taking cover behind a tree.

There was the sound of train tracks nearby. Colsa picked up the pace, If I get past the train I should be able to escape. The stench will cover my scent! She had only a few seconds before the train would hit, she bursted from the trees and sprinted full speed across the tracks, the train went rushing by, only a moment behind her. Then Colsa ran into a set of trees on the side of the tracks she was now on.

Jackie helped Klaus and grabbed a gunner and ran with him to the train taking her food.

Colsa sat down, moving her head back and forth. "How didn't I smell them!?" She wondered aloud, smacking her head. "I almost got killed! Were they using some kind of mask? Even those smell a bit off."

"They were diwn wind.... even i couldnt smell them!" Jackie jumps out of a tree with two of the gunners and fed on them.

She looked away distaste fully. "You wouldn't happen to know a sniper vampire in Oklahoma city would you?" She asked her, not expecting her to actually know.

"I don't know, my information wasn't all that clear... Darn vampire contact hates me... Hell I bet he's following me, laughing his butt off!" Colsa growled, imagining the pale skinned threat sitting in some tree watching from above having the time of his life.

"Well, whoever he is, having to be chased by guys with guns is bad enough." Klaus snapped the gun's barrel off its base, then disposed of it. "Now a sniper?" He turned to the vampire with them. "Name's Klaus Witherscrawl." He offered a hand.

Colsa turned to him, shocked, she hadn't noticed him arrive. "Nice job." She stated simply, the only words she could manage to find.

She shrugged. "Alright." And looked at the tracks. "We should get moving soon." She looked back at the vampire. "Assuming you're gonna follow, I don't care."
