Lunar looked down at her paws awkwardly.

He continued waking until he reached the woods. He stopped and stood there, tears cascading down his face. "Should I leave? I have nothing here except one friend, had one friend. Now she hates me and so will everyone else too probably. At once they find out anyways," he stated this to himself with pure sorrow.

Lunar looked toward where Echo had gone again and quickly got up, following after him. "I don't hate you," she said quickly. "You just, can't feel like that, Echo. You can't."

Echo turned around quickly at the sound of Lunar's voice. "I know I shouldn't and I don't really want to but I can't help it," he said quietly. "I don't know what to do. DANG IT!" he yelled at himself and started pacing. He regained control of himself again and turned back to Lunar. "I am sorry. I shouldn't have yelled." His fur was matted to his face where he had been crying. Afew of the larger scars he had aroun his face showed.

Lunar's eyes saddened at the sight. She felt so bad for this wolf she ha barely met. He seemed so sad, so hurt, and she just wanted to take that away. Lunar shook her head and said, "I'm not Belle. I can never be your Belle. I belong to someone else, and I could never leave him. We can be friends, but nothing more. Stay with us, here. Join our pack."

"I know that your not Belle. I only said you remind me of her. You are strong, independent, and I could trust you with anything. The last thing I would want to do is replace Belle's love for another's." He said this last part firmly. "Another thing, the last thing I would want to do is tear you away from the one you love. That wouldn't be fair to either of you. I only need to tell you, to get it off of my chest. I couldn't just hide it forever. It would have torn me apart."

Lunar nodded and asked quickly, "So, you'll stay?"

Echo seemed to think about this for a second. He then replied, "I will stay if you will be my friend."

"Any place I can clean up before heading back to the den?" he replied humorously indicating to his face.

Lunar smiled and motioned toward the stream. "Right over there, maybe?"

Echo laughed a bit at his own forgetfulness. "Right, I knew that," he said sarcastically.

Lunar smiled and teased, "Sure you did."

"I did!" he insisted, "I just, temporarily lost my memory. Anyways... let's head down there." He started walking down. At once he saw Lunar start to follow, he broke off in a run.

Lunar smirked and chased after him, running past Echo. Her eyes widened as she approached the water way too quickly and she dug her claws into the ground to stop herself. It didn't work. She skidded straight into the water and landed with a big splash.

Echo started laughing when Lunar passed him. He laughed even harder as she hit the water. Then next thing he knew, he was speeding up. When Lunar surface from the water, he jumped and landed on her, sending her back into the water.

Lunar gasped for air, then pushed him off and stuck her head up from the water quickly, gasping for air. She coughed, then started laughing as she got out quickly, shaking the water off her fur.

Echo followed suit, only waiting to shake off after she did. When he shook off he got her wet all over again. He started laughing and rolling on the ground.

Lunar laughed then hurried away from the water and shook her fur dry once again.

"Maybe we should start to head back to the den," Echo stated. "They are probably wondering where we are."

Lunar nodded, "Yea, maybe." She sat down and scratched her ear, then got up and looked around.

Echo noticed her get up and look around. "Is something wrong?", he asked.

Raffiel snarled to himself, his fangs bore towards Echo. He couldn't believe that he had just confessed an attraction to HIS Lunar. Though he was pleasantly surprised at her near instant rejection. Without a single thought, the youth jumped out from where he had been hiding and snarled loudly. "What are you doing!" He demanded of Echo.
