"I had parents, Dinae. I just don't know where they are now.." Jaquelin said while looking down at her paw.

"I see. Well you get some rest. I am going to let you and Lunar have the den to yourselves for as long as you are both staying here."

Dinae smiled back. "No problem." He walked out of the den.and laid down outside.

Lunar found what she was searching for and picked it up, hurrying back to Dinae's den. Once she returned, she padded past Dinae and into the den. Lunar sat down in front of Jaquelin and sat the gumweed plant down.

Jaquelin looked at the plant curiously, then back at Lunar, not sure what she was going to do with it.

Lunar chewed up the gumweed quickly, then carefully put it on Jaquelin's wound. "I'm Lunar," she introduced herself.

Jaquelin winced a little when she touched it, drawing in a quick breath. "I'm Jaquelin.." She said quietly, watching her.

Jaquelin smiled and looked down at her paw quietly. Though her smile faded and she got an almost disgusted look on her face, not fond of the slimy gunk smeared all over her paw.

Lunar smiled and stood up, walking over to Dinae. "Thank you, again, for everything."

Dinae smiled at her. "Its no problem. Oh, and like I told Jaquelin, you two can have the den to yourselves. I will sleep out here for now."

Lunar nodded, "Alright." She glanced around, trying to think of something else to say. Nothing came to mind, so she just turned back to the den and hurried into it, finding a spot and quickly laying down. She let out a slow breath, relieved to finally get the chance to rest her paws.

Jaquelin laid down on her side, staring outside the entrance quietly. She closed her eyes, but couldn't get herself to fall asleep.

Dinae woke up early the next morning. There was just enough light to see the shapes of the forest. He stretched and yawned. "I guess I should go hunt." he said aloud.

Lunar's eyes slowly opened at the smell of the cool morning air. She sat up and looked around the den until her eyes fell on the entrance. The female stood up and stretched, then stepped out of the den, looking around at the shadow covered forest.
